  1. ah, I dont actually have a flight computer installed on my ship. Felt a little like cheating, so I've set myself up with radio contact everywhere, or an extra challenge to overcome if I do lose contact. So its not the flight computer thats causing it to lock. Must be a freak bug, I launched the same ship again, swapped vessels a few times on the journey to try to recreate the problem, but it went fine this time.
  2. I dont think it can be signal delay. It's only Minmus, and is saying 0.1 seconds delay. Plus other vessels I already have around minmus still control fine. I've tried the solutions I know of, resetting input locks, F5 then F9, warping then stopping, switching away and back again. Is there any way to get myself unstuck from the Kill mode? I'm on my last stage, so nothing else to drop. Or do I have to go back and relaunch the mission. Is it a freak bug that happens once or twice a playthrough, or is it some item I have on the ship? many thanks
  3. I'm having a similar issue to Orionguy above. I have a unpiloted space station heading to Minmus and have all the 'RT-locks' active and dont know how to disable them. Clearing input locks doesnt actual disable them. This is the first time I've encountered this in a couple of weeks of playing, all other ships rotate fine. The ship has connection to KSC from multiple sources and and oodles of power available. Torque is working, as if I 'control from here' on a docking port the ship rotates. It seems it wants to keep pointing at something, but its not prograde/retro, nor is it the node I have setup.
  4. I've only just found this awesome mod on a revisit to Kerbal. I'm loving the idea of the tethers, but I'm having some trouble with them. I've attached a claw, but upon attaching to my cargo (another crewed ship) it becomes unresponsive. It wont traverse anymore, the only thing that does work is the lock, which snaps it back to closed quickly. But then I cant extend it again after unlocking it later. I feel like its the claw (standard squad one) causing trouble rather than your mod. Is there anything better to attach to the bottom for crane purposes?
  5. I'm having the same issue as utoxin. The mc control panel wont open during flight, so no way to finalise the contract. I am also using Remotetech in my playthrough. Many thanks to Malkuth for the original mod, and to you Linuxgurugamer, you care for so many mods on here now.
  6. I've not got very far into Interstellar, I've mainly been playing with the reactors and ISRUs, as I plan to try and dig up all the fuels I will use. I'm looking at the Rutherford engine, and see the best ISP comes from adding Beryllium. I can see this as tank storage option, but I can't see any on the drill interface or any scanners. Is this a bug or is it not possible to dig it up?
  7. I've been running into a little problem while messing with interstellar. I realise SCANsat is probably not the cause, but this i my first port of call. I'm still running Kerbal 1.8.1, and SCANsat 19.1. Muy resource settings are: biome lock OFF, narrowband OFF, disable stock scanning ON. The problem I'm having is the same as 'Olorin' back in March on the old topic but as far as I could see, he went unanswered. I can't see Uraninite on the SCANsat map resource lists, and on the surface scanner it's registering something as there's an emply gap, but no name or percentage displayed. Every other resource seems to be showing from MKS, and interstellar, just this one. I've just done a reinstall of the latest (for my version) SCANsat, CRP, and interstellar. to see if I could right the issue, but no luck. I've uninstalled all the other mods that add resources that I could find, to see if there was a conflict. I've run out of ideas. I was hoping someone here knew what was happening. Many thanks Nevermind I sorted it, but thought I'd share the fix for anyone else that runs into this. My SCANsat, and Interstellar were both uptodate versions. Interstellar has a resource definition file for Uraninite that seems to conflict somewhere. I removed that 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program\GameData\WarpPlugin\ResourceConfigs\Uraninite.cfg' and it seems to be working fine now. Before I removed that file, the only body where I saw Uraninite was on Minmus, and it was to the same specs as in that removed file. Many thanks
  8. I Can't see it in flight, at the space centre, or anywhere as far as I can see. In fact, its while I'm in flight that I'm looking for it, because of the lag its causing. It doesn't even show on the toolbar's list (the one where you switch between the normal or blizzy's)
  9. Thankyou. Which folder do I shove it in? Or do I add this to the existing engines config file within the mod?
  10. Im not sure if this has been asked yet but, is there a way to turn down the engine lighting globally? Its just a little too bright, I can barely see my plumes on some engines.
  11. I'm having some trouble with trajectories and my career game on 1.8.1. I cant see the button in the toolbar to turn it off. I read somewhere a certain tech has to be unlocked, but I had evrything other than the last engines, and the last probe guidence unit. I'm not using Blizzy's. Can anyone help?
  12. Hi, thankyou for all the hard work you do in the community. I see your name everywhere! I was wondering, there are a few old mods that have the old smartactuators as a dependency. Even causing a conflict in CKAN if this is installed. Is there any way to point them towards this mod instead, not on CKAN but within the mods themselves?
  13. @zer0Kerbal Thanks for the reply. I do have JSI installed. Are there any known compatability problems with other mods? I do have rather a lot installed, I only found this game around christmas....and went a bit mental. It must have worked previously, as I haved launched a spacestation with one of the pods as the root part, but even that station seems to have this problem now.
  14. I don't know if this is a problem with the mod or one of the other numerous I have installed, but I have an issue where the IVA is always visible ontop of the outside view. It only happens with these pods, but they are the most beautiful, so I want to keep using them. I'm using ksp 1.8.1.
