  1. Have you tried action groups? You can activate the action group just before staging.
  2. @Tokamak there's this mod, called throttle controlled avionics. It (quote) "TCA is a plugin that enhances the attitude control of a ship by dynamically changing the output of its engines and RCS thrusters. Even with most unbalanced designs TCA maintains stable flight and quick precise response to user or autopilot input. TCA also provides many sophisticated autopilot programs based on this core functionality, including waypoint navigation and automatic landing. It is also fast enough to simultaneously control a whole squadron of ships without much overhead." I personally use it a lot for helicopters and VTOLs.
  3. Yeah, that's what I was planning to do. Thanks for offering though.
  4. First things first, what exactly do you want? Here's what I found to be the best: Para-Sci pack for high performance, and it looks nice too. SVE, which is my personal favorite, because it has pretty good performance, while looking better than Para-Sci. It's pretty much the same performance as Spectra, as the previous poster mentioned. And then there's Astronomer's visual pack, which is basically the Holy Grail of visuals, but it kills my Macbook Pro, so I wouldn't try it if you're playing on a bad computer. Also, there's KS3P, which has some nice effects, and you can find custom configs provided by some of the other forum users, but it's really just special effects, so beware. No clouds and such. As far as I know, there's no mod visual packs that I know of.
  5. I hope not, because I really want to start building a station soon, and it doesn't seen good if you build a station before docking. But I think I might be able to dock successfully this time!
  6. SatLink 1: Satellite Constellation, Commnet for all! While the rest of got busy preparing CTV-9 and ADT, the experimental technologies group got to work on a satellite constellation, named SatLink. Normally, Wernher did not complain about any new things, because he himself was working on the experimental LV-N, but he did not like this at all. This is the exact transcript of the briefing between him and Gene: Gene: Ok Wernher, as you know, tomorrow we're going to launch SatLink on the BPHR Heavy. Wernher: Vat is this SatLink you talk about? Ve going to launch CTV-9, nein? Gene: Err, no? We're going to launch CTV-9 after SatLink. It's going to be a satellite constellation for better communication. Wernher: Vat? You mean satellite constellation, nein? That vill put lots of space junk, it is bad idea! You must stop! Gene: Um, Wernher, we already started. The BPHR's on the pad already. Wernher: Da kids these days. Always want to launch space junk into orbit! (Wernher proceeds to sulk out of the room, slamming the door) Gene: Ok Boomer! Wernher: (Redacted), (Redacted), (Redacted), (Redacted), (Redacted), (Redacted), (Redacted)! The next day, the BPHR Heavy got filled up, and prepared for launch. Jeb pestered Gene about why he couldn't ride that, but shut up when Gene told him that if he didn't stop, he wouldn't be selected for the next mission. However, the launch didn't go perfectly. There was a problem with the staging computer, but SatLink still got into orbit, and all satellites deployed successfully (not shown here). The engineers have noted these problems for future launches of BPHR heavy. After the launch, the SPH proclaimed that they had something in store, and they would have it out soon.
  7. I just learned about this guy. Now I just have all of his songs to listen to, if you will excuse me.
  8. Basically, each part has a drag value and a lift value. To calculate aerodynamics, it just adds up the drag and lift values, so you can get some funky craft to fly. (I think, please correct me if I'm wrong)
  9. Thanks! Also, let me mention that I am doing gravity turns, it's just that during the gravity turn, I usually don't have time to take screenshots, as I'm too busy fighting SAS, and that I circularize at apoapsis or I might actually be doing something wrong. In that case, please tell me. I was planning on using Sigma Dimensions and Rescale or JNSQ, but only after I've completed everything in stock. Cheers!
  10. What is this Boogautti Ic 6488156381 turbo power twin shaft XLE you speak of, and why is it so slow? (Literally any car enthusiasts)
  11. 10/10 undefined variable is the essential key to life Boomer, you're a boomer, you're a boomer for not saying I'm human. Boomer.
  12. That has no bikes in it. The building is a cow...
  13. -45: You ponder what Jeb was going to do to you. A one-eyed creature peers out from the shadows, so you quickly hurry to the next level.
  14. Could this possibly be adapted for reentry scorch marks on parts @JadeOfMaar ?
  15. None that I know of, though it would be nice to have one. From my minuscule knowledge of modding, it would probably be a mask overlay over a part, though it probably couldn't be based on systemheat, so a knew heat system would have to be developed.
  16. Restock and Restock+. Ven's stock revamp is also good, but I like it less.
  17. CTV 8: Return to LKO KASA restored its focus to LKO operations, for future missions beyond Kerbin's SOI. They would need to have to be able to dock for a manned Duna mission, so that returned to being the primary focus. With that, the VAB rolled out a shiny new version of the CTV: CTV v3, mainly for LKO operations and for future Duna missions. The mission was a full success, and after splashdown, the floats inflated, and Jeb, Bob, and Bill were quickly recovered.
  18. I tried to get to Gilly today in my sandbox test save. Somehow, I clipped through it? I tried again, but it's gone now. That was fun while it lasted.
  19. testing something Nope, doesn't work
  20. Luckily, a quantum backup of the Universe exactly before the launch had been stored in the supercomputer PERSISTENCE.SFS.
  21. What about Ven's Stock Revamp? I still personally prefer restock
  22. Bit late to the party here, but I'm choice 1.5. I feel like choice 2 would fit perfectly into the game (as a late game part or technology) for example, those 0.6 second maneuver nodes that you can never time right, but then again, a option should be added to disable that option, as it would also take some fun out of the game, for example, those 0.6 second maneuver nodes.
