Astra Space Inc. (formerly Ventions) Launch
GuessingEveryDay replied to tater's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Checking out the website, looks like it's a very good edit. -
I believe that was Coby Cotton, he has a twin brother who had his model rocket fail in the model rocket that gave Coby his seat on NS-22:

Booster landed. Not even on the feather. Drogue chutes. Mains are out. Nice shot of the booster and capsule in the same picture. Capsule's down, Titanium Feather's safe. Mix of Ford, and Rivian trucks this time.

T-5:00:00 Crew Arm retract T- 1 min, 30 sec Liftoff of Titanium Feather. Max-Q Still not used to having imperial units for space. This is definitely how the imperial units die out, due to space exploration. MECO Booster sep, passed Karman line. Yikes, the audio's bad.

Huh, well... Stream's up and running, hold for 15 minutes.

Here's a picture of what they would look like with the H-II booster. It's ridiculously cursed. -

I'm struggling to get a SSTO with RAPIERs into space, since the intake maxes the engines out at Mach 1.1. Any idea on how to stop this? -

If you're just using MH for the big parts, go ahead. If you want to keep the mission builder, then you need to install both. -
Bell Kerman hated loud noises, which was silly, because everyone gave her a bell for Khristmas, One year, someone gave her a full-size replica of the Petersgloke. So she just put them in the attic, next to her old rocket fuel testing equipment. One day, while she was home, her home-made fuel in the attic popped, it was a small pop, but it caused a bell to fall, and another one, and another 2, and another 4, and another 8. Each with a loud, pure BONG! Every time she heard a bong, she became more afraid, remembering that Petersgloke bell that someone gave her. Until finally that Petersgloke bell did fall. Bean Kerman, trying to open his kar.

Hmmm. Maybe it'll be simplified version of National Team's lander, a transfer module that can dock to both of the modules, so when the time comes, the transfer can circularize at the periapsis, let the astronauts land, then when the ascent comes back, they can stay in the transfer module for the return to Orion.

"Kerman, Screw? You're up for lateral-centrifuge testing!" "Wait, I thought I was just doing impact testing? I think you--" *fine green mist* Jeff Kerman and a pile of money.

At this point, they might as well go and make the LESS by itself. Just make it 2 stage, the ascent stage holds the extra supplies, and the descent just holds enough to get back to Orion. That's 3 billion saved for NASA, while the military continues to spend almost $800 billion.

Eh, leave out the tiles and just 2 engines (1 back-up), after it's empty, it can make another hop to smash the enemy's camp. Jolly good.

KSP says it's possible, without parachutes. /s

However, ReStock Plus provides them for free!

Eh, Super Heavy has the potential to hover, so it really depends on how quickly the arms can move laterally. Plus the winds, although I think the engines can manage that. We'll probably won't see them trying to land on the Chopsticks with a Super Heavy until B10 or after that.
