sorry if this was asked before, didn't read 50 pages, is there any optional install that would keep stock as home planet and this one as a new system somewhere in space? if this would be possible, this amazing planet pack would become compatible with lots of packs you name as incompatible in first post. I know it would be against the original story behind the pack but hey, as ksp player, i would like to have this as planet pack no matter what side by side many others to enjoy playing with.
Unfortunately there is not

Really cool! Do you have an expected release time for all this? Sorry to be that guy.
Congratulations you have delayed the release by 1 day, this happens every time someone asks about it

Hi!
Does this work alone (as in it can stand in for Kopernicus) or do I need Kopernicus installed to run it?
This is kopernicus

No problem, here it is:https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vN77kZX0qvScprq5XOwWpFSKGQAji2Ng/view?usp=sharing
By the way, take into account that Mac support is very limited, so that could be your problem

Lighting on Body's are offset a little
That sounds like a normal map issue, i reccomend generating them with kittopia

For those of you using Beyond Home with Sigma Dimensions / Rescale, perhaps you can help me with the following issue:
I've been using @Morphisor's rescale config (3.5x) and I found that the ground scatter - particularly the trees - were unnaturally huge. I found that in the rescale config when I set "resizeScatter = 0" it brings the trees back to normalish scale.
However, when visiting a nearby celestial body, I found some interesting things that seemed to be bigger than they should be:
My sense is that these were intended to be 3.5x smaller; if so there might not be the harsh clipping that is evident. Are any of you having this issue and/or have found a fix? Is it possible that these scatter objects do not use the same size variable as the trees/rocks etc? The other possibility is that this was just an unlucky random scatter placement that put them too close so they clipped. But I wonder if these are appearing as 'intended'.
Also, they don't seem to have hit-boxes; my craft & kerbals pass through them. I was under the impression that certain BH scatter objects of great interest can be landed on.
Any thoughts on these issues? Thanks!
Yeah that seems normal, they probably just spawned too close
SpoilerKeep in mind the Lua terraformers are naturally huge, too

There is a contract asking me to get ore from Destiny/Fate
I thought these are stars and no way to land?
Unfortunately, contracts are broken

I'd love to see this come to JNSQ, but I certainly understand if that's not in the cards.
The JNSQ devs would have to make configs for it

You can lower the settings to make it run better

I'll ask the question generically then. Once the update for this mod is released, (OR another developer with a different planet mod), I'm new to this but enjoying the first download from about 3 months ago. What is the procedure to properly combine the upgraded version with the great new planets into an existing working KSP (same mod into old version or same mod, i.e. overlay, update, upgrade?
..
I have not done this in the past. Do I re-download the entire package and then just put it into Gamedata? I don't want to lose the saved game with ships orbiting or landed. ThanksYou just redownload everything and replace the previous version

Isn't Trappist-1 All Rights Reserved? I'd suggest checking the license of the mod you're forking before posting it on the forums.
Uh, Star made this Trappist himself

Still running this on the beloved 1.8.1..
Curious IF there is even a geostat possible around rhode, or is that in the orbit of Lua?
Lua's orbit is exactly geostationary, you could make a satellite constellation around it or put one on the same orbit as it

A few more release dropped (we are at 25 now) with under-the-hood changes, and something kinda big happened as a result:
https://github.com/R-T-B/KittopiaTech/releases
Yep, a KittopiaTech release that actually works with 1.10.1 and stuff. Requires bleeding edge build 25 or greater (basically the latest to date). It will work with both 1.9.1 and 1.10.1 without fuss. Report bugs, of course. It will have issues with a Kopernicus Bleeding edge lower than 25, or the present stable build. We hope to test and promote this to stable as rapidly as is reasonable
Thank you
thank you so much

i dont think thats something for kopernicus?

They are stock scale

The first problem (image) is caused by the terrain shader, and there isn’t anything you can do about it im pretty sure, as for the floating scatters what ksp and kopernicus version are you in?
that was a problem in a previous KopC but it was fixed on release 4 iirc
