  1. I would laugh so hard if these worked on BOP.
  2. Skylake, i'm starting to like it .Could i get better for $400 or is this the best?
  3. Ok, now realizing how much money I have, would this $400 rig be enough for running games like KSP and Minecraft maxed out at 720p or 768p @ 60FPS or more? 4. I didn't mean it in a bad way.I was just surprised that Ridgedog of all people would play KSP.So happy...
  5. Wait, hold on a minute, YOGSCAST? Ridgedog? I swear something is wrong with me today. This can't be real. And also: SECOND!
  6. Eve is the only planet where MOAR BOOSTERS is the ONLY solution.
  7. Would a Hyper 212 EVO be ok? Or do i need to consider liquid cooling?
  8. I wish you well kiwi.I speak on the behalf of all the members of this forum. No matter how strong the pain is, physical or emotional, enjoy what you have left to enjoy!
  9. True.I will dig a little deeper and see what I can find.I will update once I come back with results. UPDATE: Is an i5-4690 for 1300-ish HRK (just under $200) worth it instead of the 2600K?
  10. But then again, the situation is similar to Canada when it comes to inflation.I mean, here is an example: Core i7-2600K cost around 1500 HRK in Croatia, but an i5-6500 cost twice as much! Madness, right? 1$ = 6,6 HRK
  11. I am planning to save some money to build myself a smashing new PC, and finally move from my dated laptop.I've saved around 750 bucks. And surprisingly, this is what i've managed to put together: Intel Core i7-2600K - 220$ - From what i know, KSP is a very CPU-dependent game.Intel was obviously my first choice.Plus i needed that extra power for the near future when i start recording and possibly streaming KSP. CM H212 EVO - 29$ - Nuthin special.Just need to keep my CPU cool enough during rendering and gaming. ASRock Z77 Extreme6 - 95$ - I just needed a mobo that fitted my CPU.That's it. 2X8GB Kingston HyperX Fury Black 1866MHz - 95$ - Added extra 8GB for all that good stuff, also for 64-bit KSP. Seagate Barracuda 1TB - 44$ - Don't need that much space. Just KSP, Minecraft, my recording & editing software and recordings. MSI GTX 760 HAWK LE - 147$ - Since KSP in my eyes thrives more from CPU and RAM power than GPU power, i don't need much, visual packs neglected. Xigmatek Mach Midtower - 29$ - I just need a container to store my components. Corsair CX600M - 73$ - Since semi-decent power supplies are a premium in Croatia, i went with what i can get. TOTAL: 732$ I know, most of these are outdated parts. But, i'm not that Skylake-hungry.But still, that's only 750 bucks! It's amazing how prices have gone down over the years.I found all these parts through an Ebay-ish sort of site called Njuškalo. It's basically the Croatian Ebay.I converted these prices from HRK to US dollars.I know, some of them seem outrageous, but in Croatia, they are regular selling price.
  12. I think i will summerize it pretty quickly: - Moho is a burnt cookie - Eve is an odd eggplant with a lighter shade of purple than usual - Gilly is a breadcrumb - Kerbin is...well...IDK - The Mun is a bland grey rock - Minmus is mint ice-cream! - Duna is a cheesecake - Ike is The Mun's younger brother - Dres is Bop's idol... - Jool is a pea or pea soup, perhaps salad? - Laythe is a wannabe Kerbin... - Vall is a dirty snowball - Tylo is the Mun's older brother - Bop is a potato - Pol is a pollen grain - Eeloo is either another dirty snowball or vanilla ice cream
  13. I've learnt a lot of things from KSP, and i usually end up being called 'the smart guy' everytime in physics class. But anyways: here are a few of many things i learned: - To calculate delta-v, multiply the ISP of your engine with the natural logorithm of the qoutient of the dry and wet mass of your craft. - Don't use MechJeb too often. While the autopilot is really handy, it will take a toll on your piloting skills. You will eventually rely too much on the autopilot, and be dependent on it in a later stage. - Learn to take advantage of the Oberth Effect.Whilst orbiting a moon that orbits really far away from it's parent planet, burn out of it's SOI, and set the initial periapsis around the parent planet the lowest you can get it without entering it's atmosphere, if it has an atmosphere.Once outside the SOI of the moon, warp to your periapsis and burn.By doing this, you consume the least amount of fuel when leaving it's gravitational influence. - If you want to make your orbit's more perfect, set your thrust limiter on your engine really low, go to a point approximately inbetween the apoapsis and periapsis, then burn radially or anti-radially, depending on which side you are on. - When building planes, put your wings a bit farther back to prevent constant stalling.Side fact: Don't overuse the Advanced Canards, as your plane will have to strong lift and will flip your plane upside down on takeoff. - When departing for other planets, know your phase and ejection angles. This prevents you from wasting a crazy amount of delta-v on getting to a place that's basically right next door to Kerbin. - ALWAYS REMEMBER TO ACTION GROUP YOUR SOLAR PANELS! - DON'T FORGET THE SOLAR PANELS! - Opt for a minimalistic design.Build rockets that have just enough fuel and safety countermeasures to get you somewhere and back safely. - Always have an extra battery or two onboard. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I mostly learned these things during my rookie years, back in 0.19, all the way up to 0.24 (no kidding). Here's one thing i said when i first joined this forum around 2 years ago.Back at the time, i knew very little about how KSP works.I literally asked why my game wasn't budging, because i was on the dark side of the Mun with zero eletricity.YUP.THAT HAPPEND.Anyways this a really lenghty post, and i'm sorry for taking up precious thread space .Thanks for reading my learned lessons, and some mistakes and sins!
  14. I tried dropping a small nuke (but this applies for all nukes and bombs) from a fighter with and without decoupler.Didn't work.Tried it on a test platform with wheels (like SWDennis), again with and without decoupler, didn't work.I even tried changing the bomb settings by right-clicking on the bomb.Didn't make a difference.
  15. Mushroom clouds do not appear when i drop anykind of bomb or nuke, i just get the regular stock explosion.HELP!
  16. Thanks! Tried to make it as realistic as possible. Was kind of hard to fit all those parts onto only one engine and fuselage.
  17. Beat me to the punch! I was planning on having people build the Citation Mustang! Anyways, noice! Might try it myself. Behold, the Citation Mustang.
