  1. Anyone who thinks their dark side of the planet is too dark to see anything, I found a solution to it. In 'gamedata/scatterer/config/config.cfg' there's a line with "disableAmbientLight = True", changing it to False lets you see better of the planet's dark side much better. And then, in the game you click on planetshine setting, change vacuum ambient light to something close to 0.45 and change stock ambient light boost setting to 30%or more, then you see much better. Even better is enabling citylights in AVP config mentiond by themaster401 above. Before After this screenshot is taken with TUFX profile to 'default-empty' as it makes it bararly visible, tho better than before. I also noticed some graphical glitches playing such as weird line on kerbins cloud. If you look closely to the right of the craft you can see a line. Is this fixable? I'm using 43k texture. And the shadows sometimes look like stars(i don't know how to describe this, as if the star is changing itself and flickering) on kerbin and on oceans.
  2. Its better without the tufx profile but i was wondering if citylights are no longer available or i have some settings not done right

I tried removing the citylights.cfg from the AVPs gamedata but it doesn't work. Cna someone help?
  4. I fixed it by changing the power management setting in nvidia control panel from 'prefer maximum performance' to 'optimum power'. I'm not sure if amd cards have such settings in driver but this is how i solved it. Parts are stock parts with restock and TU

  6. I dont have any mods related to Kopernicus. So maybe it has to do with the changes of the update?? Or could it be a conflict between scansat and other mods?
  7. @TaintedLion I'm having the same issue but im on 1.9.1. How did you solve it? I don't see anything on the big map but small map still works.

  11. Hi, im on 1.9.1 and i can't accept or decline a contract from SPH or VAB. This isn't supposed to happen right? Could there be conflict between this mod and other mods? Is this only happening to me? Or anyone else?
  12. How would i know if the game crashed because of low memory? Does it say it crashed because of low memory in player.log file? What word do i have to look for in the log? Thank you for your reply. However, when i removed Heappadder i started getting some random GC crashes so i just put it back on. Since most of my mods are mostly essential utility mods i can’t decide which ones to remove.... So how about adding more ram? That’s probably the most ideal way without removing mods right?
  13. I love playing with AVP. I don't think i can play without AVP anymore. Thank you for creating this beautiful mod. However, there's some things i would like to be changed. I'm using Sunflares of Maar as suggested by AVP. As you can see in the picture above, the sunflare doesn't appear until the sun is fully visible. Same applies to the kerbin's atmosphere. (Sorry i don't have a picture on this) Sunflare doesn't appear until the sun is fully out of the atmosphere of kerbin when looked from the space. (I don't know if i'm explaining this clearly enough, ill post some more pictures on this maybe after sometime) So is there any way to make the sunflare visible even if the sun isn't fully visible? (Make the sunflare gradually appear like the stock sun?) [Without TUFX] [With TUFX] (vessel becomes very dark, when its behind kerbin i can't see anything other than citylights) Also, the TUFX's AVP config makes the dark side way too dark. I tried changing my ambient light settings but it doesn't change much since TUFX is applying the profile over the stock graphic. They look perfect in screenshot. But i don't think they are really suitable for actual gameplay. Any tips for adjusting the TUFX config to make them bright while maintaining the same look?
  14. I do have a lot of mods installed, but i don't think they should take up the whole 16gbs of ram? Are they normal behavior? They use 10gbs on the main menu when im not even playing.   16. I fixed it. It was Atmosphere Autopilot mod. Don't know what's causing it but it seems like others are having problem to.
  17. Is there any way to remove stripes when enabling ambient occlusion? seems to be only happening when zoomed up close on vessels.
  18. I tried looking for it but i don't think there is?? Do i have to edit it in the cofig file? edit:) sorry i just figured out u can change them from the setting panel (which u use when starting a new save but can be also opened in ingame setting) i thought the only option u can change was in the KSC toolbar KRASH window.
  19. Is it normal to have sim cost not going up when time warping? Both physics warp and normal warp time doesn’t seem to be accounting for the sim cost in my setup. Some mods i have that’s related to time is better time warp, time control, Kerbal construction time... and maybe kerbalism?
  20. Hi. I have a bug with hiding the buttons in the toolbar. As u can see in the picture i have hidden some toolbar icons with JC but when i load the next vessel, icons appear again and they can be seen in both places. Inside JC folder and on the toolbar.   21. Hi, i've had multiple crashes now when trying to revert back to VAB from KRASH simulation, or entering VAB from the KSC. I have mod KRASH which is simulation mod, it doesn't crash every time i quit simulation so im confused about what's really causing my game to crash.
