like the idea of the decoupler, I think I saw the idea tossed around on the forum before. If its not too hard could you make one with like 1/2 and 1/3 the size of the shroud for other downloaded mod engines?

I use this mod, obviously, but i have no idea what the tower is really for or what the retro pack does, can someone explain?

I've read about this on the form and I can't believe you people do this! I just went into my first orbit and using the OPA makes it damn easy. I'm trying the micro tank and engine out because I wanted a better model, haven't used it yet. So tell me about how you guys do this, do any of your just do vertical lift off and landings? my orbit reentries are never smooth at all. Also, can you land the module in water and have it not explode?

I love this, it really helped my get into orbit fine and dandy, although it was a little trickier than i thought getting out. Is there anyway the module itself could be re modeled to look more like small set of thrusters or maybe just like the stock liquid fuel engine? Could someone tell me how to swap models and the actual part's effects?

oh yeah, i know its not possible currently, just a thought

or maybe a way to use like 4 radial couplers in a square pattern to support the whole structure?

It is like the SAS in a way that it helps you keep stable. If you look at the part closely see how it has those little thrusters? it essentially has the ability to heavily move the craft when you use the pitch, roll and yaw commands. try it out on a simple vertical flight with the RCS attached right to the command module. When it is just the command module and the RCS you should be able to see how different the craft moves. Not sure how it effects using the SAS toggle of 'F' command. When it hits the ground though it kills your crew, unless it has been fixed? I don't use it because of that even though it does wonders for getting your craft into a orbit.
