  1. The scientific name of the whooping crane (bird) is "grus americana", and crane (equipment) in Spanish is grúa, crane (equipment) is French is grue, and crane (equipment) in Portugese is guindaste.
  2. Once I get KSP working again, after I finish my KTM 1060-3.1, I will attempt to make a backhoe.
  3. I got it. Thanks, @Vanamonde! I thought that was something else.
  4. When I first orbited Kerbin, and when I built my first crane in KSP. I still need to practice going to other planets and docking. Especially docking.
  5. I would probably start with either the easiest mission/easiest one to build (I'm not actually sure what that would be. It's been a while since I have actually gone to space! If you looked at my other forum content you'd understand), or just build the classic historical rocket; the Saturn V.
  6. Where? I have never seen anything in my settings. Is that option only available to people with a "3 dot" rank and over?
  7. I made more modifications to my mini Lego crawler crane. I added a luffing jib to increase the lift radius and/or height, a tilting cab to increase operator visibility, and a rear ballast carrier to increase the capacity. The ballast carrier is filled with BBs,  just like the standard counterweight on the main crane superstructure. I will try to post better pictures soon. I found the cord, but now I don't know what I did with my iPod touch!

Note: An iPod touch is almost the same as an iPhone. One of the only differences is that you can't call. You can still use FaceTime though.

      Thanks!

In the first picture to the right (See a vehicle with a white cab?) is my jobsite utility vehicle thing. It has a loader bucket/plow on the front, and a dump bed on the back. It can also be equipped with an aerial work platform (cherrypicker), excavator arm, just a regular flatbed, or whatever you want - Technically, whatever I want since I have it . I adapted it from a Lego streetsweeper.

  8. Are these the right logs? https://www.dropbox.com/s/a661lmp3ht05lix/MiniAVC-V2.log?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/zqjomlwq7wpyqam/MMPatch.log?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/ki47v0t5y7t2t3q/ModuleManager.log?dl=0 I am switching over to a different computer pretty soon, and will probably play KSP on the new (It's not new, as in bought and/or manufactured recently. but new as in "It's the computer I am switching over to from the one I am using now") computer without going through Steam since I have heard with modded KSP it's better not to use Steam. All I really care about are my craft files. I don't even care about the other savegames since I am always in sandbox mode. I still need to download KSP and all my mods onto the new computer* , but I also need to transfer the craft. I was thinking about using the Steam cloud, but since I might not use steam (For KSP, there are other Steam games I have that I want to keep), and since the files are weird, I can't really do that. Is there a way to take a flashdrive, transfer all the craft files onto it, go to the new computer, put the craft files into some folder in the KSP folder, and have all the craft show up on KSP on the new computer? *Is there a single ksp.exe file that I can transfer over instead of downloading KSP from the internet? I only ask since I have slow internet. I could easily go to McDonalds and use the McWifi, but I was just wondering. I understand that this post is a little hard to read, and I am sorry, but I am anxious to get KSP working. I think all of these problems may have been started by Steam trying to update KSP.
  9. Me too! I got KSP on my 10th birthday, and I named my first savegame "I GOT KSP!!!!!!!!" I have been a Kerbonaut (Or more like Kerbal Krane operator right now ) for about 3 years. Now do the math to reveal my age...…
  10. I am not exactly sure where to put this thread, so if it is not in the correct forum section the moderators will move it (Sorry to make more work for you!) I just want to know how to install KSP without steam because I am soon switching over to a different computer, and I have heard that it is best to play modded KSP without going through Steam. Can you tell me how to do it, or where to go to to find instructions?
  11. Hello, and welcome to the Kerbal Space Program forums, @TheKrakenHerder! I hope you find them a kind, helpful, and humorous community! 13. It's where they do robotic arms for space. Do you mean the "Canadarm" robotic arm on the Space Shuttle?
