  2. Was just going to post Fuel/Oxidizer. My Google fu is not strong today. Only other reference I could find was a NASA deep space tracking network handbook from 2016 that lists F/O as Fiber Optic.
  3. Definitely agree here. I like the "challenge" of doing my own shape and the aero maybe not being the best design. But then again I'm not a MechJeb person. I actually really liked KSP1 fairings, minus closing them. KSP2 seems be have better control over that for a better parabolic shape vs KSP1.
  4. I'm sorry, maybe I've had a few too many cold, fosty drinks, but I'm an engineer and exactly that happens everyday. So why wouldn't a dev team experience the same! haha
  5. This is NOT a personal attack against you or your statement but a frustration with these types of statements in general. Let's pretend the roughly 1 Million from 25k active players at launch hasn't been refunded one cent. That doesn't "make" anybody any money. All the "devs"/publisher gets is recouping any cost. Yes, it's semantics, but there's a difference when you have investors. 1 Million in payback over the course of so many years of development is absolute peanuts when it comes to Seattle based employee salaries. Trust me, I live here, and I know numerous people in the industry. I understand that $50 is a bit steep for what was delivered, but it's anyone's choice to buy it, and nobody made me buy it. They can have my money if it helps continue development.

  7. The few times I tried a fairing the craft was actually "wobbling" inside the fairing, like adding a fairing breaks the physics. Could launch the same thing without a fairing and its fine. Add one? It becomes a pendulum.
  8. Looks like my post didn't go through yesterday. You are a savior. This helps so much for precise maneuvers, at least as close as we can get for now. I dont mind the kraken taking my rockets and all the bugs, just needed this to get more playable. Thank you!!
  9. I'll to show you by memory but it may not be helpful (I'm at work). I didn't use the mod loader, I downloaded space warp directly. It must be version 5.xx not 6.xx. that could be the issue. Extract to root KSP2 folder. The mod is where I don't recall, open the mod .zip and extract it to the folder in the root KSP2 directory that matches the name, I believe it's "plug-ins".

  12. When it gets in this mode the shift and cntrl keys make "engine" sounds as well.
  13. Is it possible to warp at the KSC without being in control of a vessel to get a planetary window? I can't seem to do it.

For me in KSP1 grav turn is this (1.5TWR): Wait for 90m/s for good center of pressure Start turning roughly 75 degrees until 5km Gradually turn to 45 degrees and hit 20km At 20km Ap should be 40km or so Go from there until desired Pe I do this in KSP2 with identical tanks/ stages and I'm burning stage 2 at 35km...crazy. I've manged to massage my way to better orbits, and I'm still adapting, but it feels strange.
  15. Built an unnecessarily large ship with the new hydrogen engine. Orbited Kerbol at 20Mm....it's huuuuuuuuuge and beautiful!!! Made my ship look like an ant thruster.
  16. Plated again after a frustrating start yesterday. Figured put the new maneuver node system better. Low orbited the Mun and returned. Getting the hang of the changes. I can definitely see potential! The only infuriating things in my mind can he fixed easily I believe (nodes etc).
  17. My sentiments exactly. I played for 2 hours before work and it was painstakingly hard to simply get to a perfect orbit.
  18. Anybody notice when you add a stage and drag a part into it you're just dragging a cursor, no icon?
  19. This was absolutely maddening to me. Tried the maneuver tutorial in case I was missing something. I had to give up because of things like this after 2 hours. I'll give it a fresh start after work again and post more helpful feedback.

  21. Excited for pretty much everything. The new UI looks great. Excited to see all the revamped planets/moons. Eventually interstellar. The Tutorials seem great.
  22. Agree 100% MSFS had every temp on my 8350 and 1060 and mobo at max Temps in the beginning. Those specs were impossible to play with before massive optimization. I suspect KSP 2 will be similar.
