  1. Not really, more like a Su-24. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e0/Sukhoi_Su-24_inflight_Mishin-2.jpg http://www.aerospaceweb.org/aircraft/bomber/su24/su24_schem_01.jpg The Mig-21 has a delta wing set up. http://cdn-www.airliners.net/aviation-photos/photos/8/8/5/0643588.jpg
  2. That has absolutely no truth to it and is frankly a total lie. A modern day PC could easily simulate our whole solar system. The density of foliage of earths forests and so on is much harder but doable depending on the type of methods used.
  3. Since you obviously are a "coder" you must understand the reason for why ships are not rendered. What is the heaviest type calculations ingame? The physics between parts. What happens if you need to calculate the physics for all of your ships that are out in space all the time, even if you cant see them? Your cpu melts and your computer explodes into a million pieces. A planet is a single object, not all that physics heavy.
  4. It is extremely bad. There is a big chance that your computer will blow up!
  5. Unlike regular controls trim is not used to directly control the jet. It is instead used to compensate for any errors in flight. For example, imagine you damage your wing and the jet start turning slightly to the left. Once you trim the jet it will once again keep flying straight because the control surfaces have been set to bypass that previouse error and compensate for it.
  6. Is there a guide somewhere for building stable jets with this mod? I can build jets that fly but its always when approaching mach 1 that my aircraft plummit to the ground I understand that there are a lot of variables and i've tried to figure out all of them in the FAR CAS but without any luck.
  7. What you are missing is that EVE has a steady income every month. KSP doesnt.
  8. Exactly! People dont seem to understand that the its not economically feasible to drag out a project. It gets costly. Most games have development cycle of 2-3 years. We will be seeing the final release in the near future i believe.
  9. I wonder what would have been faster.. taking a look in the options menu for key bindings or writing this whole post?
  10. The escape key is universally used for one thing only and that is to show some kind of menu to let you exit or to immediately exit.
  11. I guess that is the way you perceived it. I on the other hand saw a wall of negativity.
  12. Please do educated me on the hypocrisy.
  13. Is the second part of your post really necessary? I understand what you are trying to say but it just comes of as immature. Anyways, i prefer rockets to get the job done but I like to play around with space planes.
  14. Where is the god dumb like button!? LIKE LIKE LIKE LIKE!
  15. It's all relative. From his perspective everything looks and is fine :-)
  16. What I was trying to say was that there are no such things as "just theories". Theories by their own nature are already researched, tested and explained with variouse methods. Therefor there is more truth to a theory than anything else.
  17. You obviously do not know the meaning of a scientific theories. There are no such things as "just theories". For example, The theory of evolution is not "just a theory". Its fact. Wiki explination: A scientific theory is a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world, based on a body of knowledge that has been repeatedly confirmed through observation and experiment.[1][2] Scientists create scientific theories from hypotheses that have been corroborated through the scientific method, then gather evidence to test their accuracy. As with all forms of scientific knowledge, scientific theories are inductive in nature and do not make apodictic propositions; instead, they aim for predictive and explanatory force.[3][4] The strength of a scientific theory is related to the diversity of phenomena it can explain, which is measured by its ability to make falsifiable predictions with respect to those phenomena. Theories are improved as more evidence is gathered, so that accuracy in prediction improves over time. Scientists use theories as a foundation to gain further scientific knowledge, as well as to accomplish goals such as inventing technology or curing disease. Scientific theories are the most reliable, rigorous, and comprehensive form of scientific knowledge.[3] This is significantly different from the word "theory" in common usage, which implies that something is unsubstantiated or speculative.[5]
  18. That not entirely true. The types of calculations that are done in a game like KSP are physics based, meaning they are big in size and repeated often. The bigger cache and a higher clock speed will give the game a considerable boost in speed. KSP is a game that loves high clock speeds.
