  1. I don't expect them to do it. It's just that, with the whole multiplayer thing. I'd like to think that after building a huge base or a huge space station, you'll get to explore the insides with a friend. I don't know, I have this insane assumption that the multiplayer it's gonna have a focus on roleplaying with a friend in a close kerbal view. Like a mixture of rocket design and Subnautica.
  2. It looks awesome and way more realistic. But I voted "it could use some adjustments but looks fine" because I would like one thing: - a more dusty feel on the surfaces So far the Pol and Mun shows us great planets, but way too shiny for my taste, it kind of ruins the immersion for me. Don't get me wrong, the moon reflects a lot of light, but it doesn't do it in a "metallic/liquid" kind of way like on the videos shown. It's white. But it's dusty.
  3. I cannot stress enough, just HOW MUCH I want KSP2 to step up a lot their IVA game. I really really really really hope we get something like MOARdV's Avionics Systems, and for big ships, I really really wish we get to move inside the ship in 0 g like on the ISS, and not for show, but for doing something, like operating science from inside the capsule and such.
  4. I want a better optimized game that allows easier IVAs mods. Because I just love flying from cabin. In regards with Multiplayer, I hope they find a way to make collaborative task, I don't know how they could implement it, but I would if there were certain task that must be done in collaboration. May be even having some sort of roleplaying effect, in which all the players are on the same vessel, and each player uses a different kerbal type (engineer/science/pilot) and each has different task and things to do in flight for a successfull mission.
  5. Arguably the best song so far. Those DRUMS. I love drums. And the melody, reminds me of Mass Effect Virgil.
  6. Quick questions: - How does the wheel transforming into legs work? or at least that's how it looks in the last 2 pics here https://imgur.com/a/oacfT#0 - How does the heat shield work? I found one heathshield piece, but it has a shape designed only for the tips of the base, not the middle parts. Does the mod "not support" horizontal landings?
  7. Sorry but your argument doesn't make much sense to me. The implementation of such feature is not gonna damage the development of the game. And it doesn't go against one of its main pillars. To the point most of main KSP players use one or twice features from mods like HyperEdit, KOS or MechJeb. It's also not unrealistic to unlock certain automatization process within the tech tree, since nowdays most of space maneuvres are mostly calculated and executed by computer programs anyway. I just can't stand this very toxic pc gamer culture of "oh, a game should be played hard and difficult, like real men". That's just stupid, KSP is all about making your own fun. May be OP enjoys building big bases and doesn't want to spend half of its free time performing monotonous rendevouz maneuvres. May be he want to test something before commiting to a full mission execution. Maybe he's just bored and wants to do something absurd and crazy. The more hours I spent with this game, the more I am convinced, GIVING THE PLAYER MORE OPTIONS should be the main pillar of the game design. For instance, I prefer playing in IVA mods with full instrumentational flight. And there's a lot of stuff that the main game doesn't even support, like radio navigation. Having automation tech tree not only would allow players more freedom of play, but, if properly implemented, it could also be an essential part of the tutorial. What better way of teaching a new player how to orbit a planet, or how to use gravity to accelare or reduce speed? Just make him see an automated flight that has full instructions.
  8. So far all I can say about this mod is that it works fine in 1.11 Except....the new visor feature becomes broken.
  9. Instead of moving them without worrying about the logistics. Wouldn't be simpler and more realistic to provide players a sort of "RTS base building mechanic"? That is, instead of moving the buildings spawned, you just decide which building you want and where you want it, from the start, using that BAE. Then may be some sort of groundwork build mechanic like in MKS would be nice for multiplayer. Each player with a task to make sure the building progress smoothly and such.
  10. Indeed. I like the sound design. However, I know this is a long shot. BUT. @Nate SimpsonCould you ask the music department if there's anyway to add some sort of homage or reference to this oldie classic.? It always sounded peaceful, anciente, progressive, spacey, hopeful, mysterious, I can't put it into words. But that track always sounded really special and nostalgic to me. I realize it's impossible, and perhaps doesn't agree with the overall sound they're aiming at. But still, worth the shot.
  11. The thing written above me is both true and false. It is true, because as a general rule, there's absolutely no reason or need to give a company money BEFORE you get the product. But it's also false, because: third world economics. Let me give you an exameple. If KSP2 was available for preordering, it would probably have regional pricing (or at least I hope so), just like the original KSP. Now this is important. Because, let's say you get the game at the local currency equivalent of 15 usd. Now, between the first trailer, and now, my country had: - More than 60% devaluation - +20% GDP recession - More than 70% inflation - A monthly quota on usd expenses - Severe increase in taxes and public deficit That means that for me, preordering the game would be both cheaper and easier than waiting. Because in 2018 AR$2500 were u$d 60. Today u$d 60 cost $9000. And keep in mind, salaries don't grow as fast as inflation+devaluation. In other words, pre orders are bad for the gamers, but they're also really useful for the poorest of gamers.
  12. I believe he just wanted an integrated UI of what the camera is showing while playing, not a technical aspect of where the lens is pointing in the model. In other words, much like the current telescope mods. That let's you move the camera live, and take pictures while actively showing you the camera. I have a small request. Is it possible to have an option, or a hotkey so that the camera can take photos automatically at a regular interval? Because one of the things I love about this mod is taking pictures every 5-10 seconds while orbiting or while landing, and it would be much much easier if I could focus on the landing, instead of having to both land and take a picture every X seconds.
  13. Nope. He's busy talking non stop throughout a 20 minute video. But may be @Flixxbeatzthe game founder can return and tells us who's next.
  14. You just do you at your own rythm. This one of the best mods there are. It's a pity more parts mods don't use it.
  15. This is probably a lot to ask. But could it be possible to have a better landing screen module? To be more precise, one that is integrated with better burn time mod/KER. It would be cool to land a ship without any interface on, but the current modules don't have a "suicide burn" countdown for instance, nor a TWR stat.
  16. I think it will be harder. But mostly because we're not gonna have all the amazing mods that we use for better more precise maneuvers. I know Kerbal should be accessible for all. But I hope they make the game with more complex simulations in mind too. I'd like a game in which is both possible to have really easy gameplay for rookies, and complete recreations of the Lunar Module programming for more intense player. And of course, something along the middle for the rest.
  17. Now we really need to see that show and tell. At least give us a clue, what feature was it.
  18. No disrespect. But that opening post reminds me why early 00s websites were awful. You need to be more concise. Otherwise people will just pass on you. And your work is pretty solid.
  19. I would actually like seeing one of the new solar systems to actually be Earth and not Kerbin. And then you land and some cartoony human fella/fellow-human says hi. PS: Kudos for those that get the reference.
