Kerbal Space Program 2: Episode 5 - Interstellar Travel
Kryfulli replied to StarSlay3r's topic in Prelaunch KSP2 Discussion
Alright people, time to decrypt the message at the end ! Or has it already been decrypted ? I need to check the subreddit now. 22 min is not so much of a short time for some people to decrypt it.- 344 replies

It's Friday! New KSP2 video!
Kryfulli replied to GuessingEveryDay's topic in Prelaunch KSP2 Discussion
For the last part, there are two possibilities i can see. Auto-stage, or this is a spectator view from a multiplayer game. The last stage did not flame out, it just stopped...- 64 replies

The scale of the buildings compared to KSP1 ... It's really great to see some news ! Tokamak is looking nice too. Maybe a bit small xP- 90 replies

That brings a really good question. Will KSP2 implement time dilation at all ? It is really necessary considering the distances that separates two stars, but with the whole universe size thing, i might see the dev just forgetting this part because it would be really complex to follow (for the game, and the player !) ... Especially since we know they have some engines that could fire for years, time dilation would change with the actual time. I see some integrations that need to take place, and i could understand if they would just not implement that.

Finally Peeled that Gold Foil Off the Windows
Kryfulli replied to Nate Simpson's topic in Prelaunch KSP2 Discussion
Yeah, at first i looked at the picture like "Oh cool, so they used this photo as a reference", because my eyes got caught by the video. Then i read the text. This is beautiful, but i already smell the burned computer parts that will have to render everything. It is way too early to ask for minimum perfs, i know, but i feel like i will have to get a new computer for 2022. xD -
Honestly, the delay is a bit freighting .. To have such a hold up could mean that something is blocking development, like a particular feature. Now, it could also be the pandemic at large that affects the whole team and how it is working, but we will never know. Or we won't until Nate shows up with some explanations if he wants to. Anyways, i feel like i will have my PhD before i could get my hands on this game. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Maybe i'll get more attention to my studies ? xD

KSP 2 Multiplayer Discussion Thread
Kryfulli replied to Johnster_Space_Program's topic in Prelaunch KSP2 Discussion
I wouldn't worry about that. Multiplayer is a tricky subject when it comes to developing it. At any moment they could be forced to rewrite a batch of code simply because it wasn't good enough for what the game is supposed to be. Because of that, they don't want to make any announcements before they are sure that they got a solid base. I am certainly looking forward to doing some LAN parties with KSP2. I am already having fun with Luna Multiplayer, and it's sometimes a mess of a physic engine ..- 1,629 replies
