  1. This sounds funny. But it's true, and i'm happy with the results they got so far!
  2. I also think that that's a quite correct statement. It may be possible really. Because that would be WAY more fun to have resal licensed parts, not fictional ones with bad jokes lol. What's up with my typing today? Typos They might come with the patterns. Let's just give the developers some time to do that. Alright? I don't think that they'll ever forget that one if they're trying to focus on realistic exhaust. And yeah, KSP2 will be KSP1 + mods. But way better. Yeah, thankfully the modeling of the explosions are nice. I hope there will be even more types of them. Maybe they will even add random% for particles specifications, that would be awesome. I do like the fact that they're finally going with every important graphical detail. I can't believe that we will have realistic engine plume behaviour!
  3. Someone answer this guy. I would wnat to ask the same too. Newbies always ignored in forums. Duh.
  4. This one, got my interest. Can't wait for the whole challenge! You can use it as a Duna lander, but it's up to you! That's your imagination. Nice one
  5. I didn't knew about that! Thanks for the fact, that KSP birthday is very close
  6. What do you mean? I don't understand
  7. I mean this isn't really rocket science to understand that KSP1 Is different than KSP2, and KSP1 is a pile of bugs. Also I think that you didn't really understood the quote, Mr. Wallace Breen.
  8. Of course! But if any mods that you use affect the physics engine of KSP, then most likely no.
  9. And the situation slowly elevates into space. Again. And no other living creature is around, so @MechBFP thinks that if you elevate situation as high as space, no one will ever notice. The problem is that the situation is already elevated halfway to space, so people within around 724 kilometer radius can see it slowly getting there. In other words i want to say that you shouldn't raise your opinios once again. You can hold it in your head. Because everyone will notice that you're trying to do something over there and then one big-headed kerbal will come and destroy the forums with chaos. I thought it stopped for awhile.
  10. This is a challenge where you need to build the most Kraken-ish rocket you possibly can and then try to get to Duna. RULES: Do not use any type of struts At least one stage of your spacecraft should be powered by a Kraken drive Do not use cheats Bring at least 5 Kerbals Mods are allowed, but with certain limitations. The mods that you use should not affect KSP's physics engine in any way. If you are planning to bring a rover, make sure that it can breakdance Don't forget to take screenshots along the mission, BADGE: For those who are looking for extra spice should land a huge doughnut at the North pole's pyramid on Duna.
  11. Isn't it already exact what I ask? I'm asking for, which one suits you better (which one do you like more) And also. Never compare comparisons
  12. Very nice words, this is the quote of the year for me. Let me save that in my signature.
  13. There is a way to do it. Here's a list of things you want to do (in case of a Falcon 9) : 1. In order to save fuel, try to avoid turning more than 45 degrees when intiating turn programme. 2. Get into a sub-orbital trjectory. 3. Jettison the First stage and leave it, there's plenty of time. 4. Switch to second stage and make the apogee very high. 5. When you think that the voyage for the second stage is long enough, switch to the first stage and perform a boostback burn. 6. Extend Grid fins and prepare for Re-entry (don't forget the RCS to stabilize) 7. Don't panic if you think that your velocity is too high, peak heating will slow you down a lot. 8. When you think you're ready, perform a hoverslam or suicide-burn. You can train doing that in one of the Scenarios called "Powered Landing" 9. When landed, turn of all the systems, quickly switch to the second stage and burn for a orbital trajectory around. 10. Done! In your case I would quicksave just before the stage separation to be safe. Because this method might not work sometimes.
  14. Please input the answer in the poll and leave the reason why in the comments.
  15. Oh, look what have I done. Should we, like stop? I mean, for real. I just wanted to talk about bugs and the situation got taken a bit too far. I thought that the KSP community is calmer, but looks like some are trying to save their opinion from slipping of a cliff, by being a bit rude. P.S. Today is the cosmonautics day. Before around 60 years Yuri Gagarin made it to a orbital trajectory around earth and came back safely. Don't be mad
  16. That's true. I think that this is kind of funny for a particular reason.
  17. I like your idea. And yes, the loading times are so annoying. There's mods for that, thankfully. There are texture compressors, loading managers to prevent the game from loading unnecessary things. BUT the game itself should have those features though.
  18. You are making a good point. But think about others, not everyone can afford 2 GPU's to do that job. There are people who play with Intel HD Graphics 4000 (like me). A better idea would be to optimize the game itself, because KSP1 is a pile of bugs and it was published while being unfinished. KSP1 was rushed to release and they couldn't defeat all of the performance issues out there. We should better give the developers more time to fully finish the game. You don't want KSP2 to be glitchy, buggy, laggy, stuttery like KSP1. Don't you?
  19. I'm a RSS/RO Player, but for stock, my opinion is that the hardest destination would be a tour of the whole Kerbol system. Basically shoot for Kerbol itself and then visit all of the planets with it's moons. Any delta-V possible in the game is not even enough to do that. You need crazy amounts of delta-Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! To get there.
  20. Not really, as I'm mostly playing with this setting ON and it DOES stop you from using SAS. Even with partial control it just won't let SAS. It only lets you throttle Max or 0 and control robotic parts and airbrakes. But SAS and other universal features are disabled with these settings.
  21. I know. I'm very late, but for others who is looking for the answer is that. Uncheck a chekbox from advanced difficulty settings that is called "Enable comm links weakiening while going through Atmospheric Plasma". if you turn it off, then your connection won't disappear, when entering atmosphere. Thank me later
  22. Hey! I don't know that myself, as I'm not a console player but here I have a link to a thread, that possibly asks the same question. I hope you will solve it. Link:
  23. This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
  24. Don't worry Kraken is everywhere. He watches every move of yours! People even had situations where Kraken made doodly orbits!
