  1. KSP2's atmospheres have been getting some much-needed love from our environment team and graphics engineers, and there are still more improvements on the way. We're especially proud of Murshed Choudhury's work on the new atmospheric scattering system!
  2. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I'll forward this to the appropriate team.
  3. No new news here, just commenting to state that a number of posts have been hidden to keep this thread's conversation on topic. (These posts mainly consisted of statements that it was Friday and asking where the next Show and Tell post was)
  4. Hello @inibara! Please reach out to our support team at https://support.privatedivision.com/and they'll assist with getting you more information.
  5. Good morning AtomicTech! @adsii1970 where you at?
  6. Thank you for your feedback. I passed along your questions to the team and they're working on investigating the issues. As of right now: 1. Looking into it. 2. Will not be turned on. Potential for security issues. 3. May not be possible. Need to ensure the removal of content does not break anything, but looking into it still. 4. Looking into it.
  7. While there is not currently full support for keyboard and mouse, keyboard and mouse are currently supported for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 versions of Kerbal Space Program - Enhanced Edition. You will be able to utilize mouse and keyboard functionality as long as you plug in your mouse and keyboard prior to starting the title. If the mouse and keyboard are plugged in or unplugged while the title is running, they will not work again until the system is restarted. If the keyboard and mouse were plugged in prior to starting the title, but were still not functioning properly, please reach out to our support team at https://support.privatedivision.com/hc/en-us so they can investigate and troubleshoot the issue with you.
  8. Congrats again Jim! So happy for you! Looking forward to seeing all the awesome work that you're going to do with the KSP2 team!

  11. Hello @Starsailor5x5. KerbalEDU keys are for teachers/educators only and are not intended to be for the students. Teachers/educators should download the game from their Private Division acct via the KerbalEDU link/key provided, and distribute the game to their students. If you have further questions please DM me here on the forum and I can assist.
  12. Hello! I'll follow up with the team on this. Due to the holidays, we may not be able to take any action until January at the earliest but I'll see what can be done!
  13. Thanks for the feedback Lisias. I'll pass that along to the team.
  14. Please note that Squad no longer supports the demo. Also, the demo is based on a very old and outdated version of Kerbal Space Program. Because of this, we no longer feel it is a good measure for new players to know if they will like the game. Note: I'm going to lock this post as the issue has been resolved.
  15. HOLIDAY SALE!!! All KSP merch is currently 20% off! SHOP HERE The Direct Download (PC) and Steam versions of the game are on sale too! (The base game is 76% off, The Complete Edition is 57% off) BUY IT HERE
  16. Hello all, KSP Community Manager here. These links are for nostalgia purposes only. Please note that these are very old and outdated versions of Kerbal Space Program that are no longer supported by Squad. Because of this, we no longer feel they are a good measure for new players to know if they will like the game or not.

  18. Hello Kerbonauts! Kerbal Space Program 1.12.3 is live! This small patch addressed drifting issues with robotic parts and rotating docking ports. Changelog: =================================== v1.12.3 ============================================================ +++ Bugfixes * Fix AOORE in Assembly Loading of Duplicate Mod DLLs causing issues with loading of some mods. * Improved robotic parts drift when robotic parts are left locked. Players can now quicksave/reload or timewarp to reset part placement. Note: The drift issue can only be corrected when the robotic parts are set to locked mode. * Improved rotating docking ports drift when rotating docking ports are left locked. Players can now quicksave/reload or timewarp to reset part placement. Note: The drift issue can only be corrected when the rotating docking ports are set to locked mode. +++ Modding * Add UpgradePipeline support for PartModule renaming. Learn more about this patch and how it works in @JPLRepo's DevBlog - Drifting Along You can still help us find bugs/issues by reporting them into our bugtracker, but keep in mind that the team's focus is currently on KSP2 development, so bug fixing for the original game has slowed down significantly. Happy launchings!
  19. Everything you see is work in progress. Kerbal reactions/animations, craft collision effects, etc. seen in the video are not final. The team is still working on various aspects of the game, and things are continuously changing. Our graphics and UI teams are working on separate parts of the game, so older UI still pops up in some test footage. The flight HUD is being completely overhauled, and what you see here is just leftover old UI.
  20. Learn how KSP2's planets are generated and rendered in our latest Dev Diary "Planet Tech" Check out the post below!
  21. Thank you all for participating! It was fun to see all of your attempts and submissions. I sent a DM to everyone that was mentioned in the Twitter thread. Please check your DMs here on the KSP forum for a message from me and respond at your earliest convenience. Also, huge shout out and thank you to @Galileo and the team for creating such an awesome mod for the community. We appreciate you!
  22. Hello all, just want to chime in here. First, I took some time away from my position starting back in Oct to take care of some personal matters. You'll see me on here more often again as I get re-settled into my previous role. Second, as I've mentioned before, there was no set release cadence for KSP2 Show and Tells specifically. We've been able to regularly show some sort of new KSP2 content whether it was Show and Tell, a Dev Diary, a Feature Video, etc., but a lot of work goes into planning and creating the various KSP2 content that is shared with you all, and the process takes some time. (Sometimes weeks, sometimes months) We do plan to continue to share more KSP2 content with you, but the amount of content and the frequency in which it will be shared with you will continue to vary. So no, nothing terrible has happened, and if there are a few Fridays where you don't see any Show and Tells, there's no reason to worry. Show and Tell isn't done with. There will be more! As for when, you'll have to stay tuned. As you know, we always share Show and Tell content here first, so you'll be the first to know when the next Show and Tell goes up.
