  1. Aye, I just landed my mining rig on Hydra and started drilling. There was ore so I'm all good This is the survey scanner I'm talking about. It's stock and it's worth a good bit of science, but it has the minimum altitude of 25km. I don't think it even really matters cause if a ship is on Hydra, it's not hard to move it. I think I am going to postpone a landing on Scourge and venture next to the Rage system instead. I am extremely curious about the surface of Scourge, but I don't have the relays available yet to send anything back even from a probe. More science is needed. What is in those Scourge "oceans" anyway?!?
  2. So I'm exploring the Scourge system and having a good time of it. Cetus is super cool! I was going to set up a mining base on Hydra, but I ran into a slight problem. The sphere of influence is 22km, but the minimum height for the orbital resource scanner is 25km. I don't usually use mining, but not knowing the dV requirements for sure has me wanting safety nets
  3. Hello my friend, I am very much enjoying this mod. Do you accept donations for your work? Or I could contribute to a charity of your choice if you would prefer. It's only a few bucks but I like to kick in when I can. Thank you for your efforts.
  4. I came here to find out if I just couldn't find the water on Scar. I have a career mission to splash down on Scar. I sent a resource scanner to look for water and didn't find any, so I then tried landing in the Main Basin hoping that's what it meant. It was not. I'll say that it's close enough though, so I was able to use the cheat menu to complete the contract and move on, if anyone else is having the same issue.
  5. Anyone have any ideas what's causing this? I'm having an issue with beyond home where anytime I enter orbit of the tempus system barycenter, I get massive fps drop and the log is spammed with exceptions like this: [LOG 09:07:47.422] Something went wrong with a quad! System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at PQSModExpansion.PQSMod_Subdivide.OnQuadBuilt (PQ quad) [0x00002] in <59a91b1760d141c1a83c20c379e94c09>:0 This is a fresh 1.11.2 install with beyond home installed with minimal mods through ckan. I mention the fix for the pink textures below, and it occurs even before making that fix. This also occurs in my 1.10.1 game file, which was where I first noticed it and has a more extended mod list. Full log from the 1.11 game is here: KSP.log. I just cheated a single command pod into orbit. Happy to try any debugging if anyone has any suggestions. @mszegedy @theleg I had the same issue with the pink textures, running on linux. I was able to solve it by using the mac shaders instead of linux. Go to KSP folder, then GameData/Parallax/Shaders/ and rename Parallax-macosx.unity3d to Parallax-linux.unity3d. The mac and windows shader files are both ~200 kb, but the linux one is only 11 kb. I don't know enough about unity to know if that points to anything, but I found it odd.
  6. I'm a big fan of your mod. I have been having some frame rate issues in several different game installs and I think this mod may be the source. I did a fresh install of 1.11.2 and installed only KSP-IE and required mods through ckan: Interstellar fuel switch core 3.25, KSP IE 1.26.26, Module Manager 4.1.4, and Tweakscale 2.4.4.5. KSP will then hang on the loading screen. The last section of the log is where it hangs: [LOG 20:06:43.518] PartLoader: Compiling Part 'WarpPlugin/Parts/Radiators/ActiveCoolingSystem/ActiveCoolingSystem/activeCoolingSystemv3' [ERR 20:06:43.522] [ShipTemplate]: No Resource definition found for RESOURCE [ERR 20:06:43.522] [ShipTemplate]: No Resource definition found for RESOURCE [ERR 20:06:43.522] [ShipTemplate]: No Resource definition found for RESOURCE [WRN 20:06:43.530] Could not create PartResource of type 'IntakeAtm [WRN 20:06:43.530] Could not create PartResource of type 'IntakeAtm [WRN 20:06:43.530] Could not create PartResource of type 'IntakeLqd [WRN 20:06:43.530] Could not create PartResource of type 'IntakeLqd [WRN 20:06:43.530] Could not create PartResource of type 'WasteHeat [WRN 20:06:43.530] Could not create PartResource of type 'WasteHeat [EXC 20:06:43.626] NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object ModuleResourceIntake.GetInfo () (at <dc0e5f458c0f4571ad839b9c4153f347>:0) PartLoader.CompilePartInfo (AvailablePart newPartInfo, Part part) (at <dc0e5f458c0f4571ad839b9c4153f347>:0) PartLoader+<CompileParts>d__56.MoveNext () (at <dc0e5f458c0f4571ad839b9c4153f347>:0) UnityEngine.SetupCoroutine.InvokeMoveNext (System.Collections.IEnumerator enumerator, System.IntPtr returnValueAddress) (at <7d9ec060e791409ab3eb85c61e312ed6>:0) UnityEngine.DebugLogHandler:LogException(Exception, Object) ModuleManager.UnityLogHandle.InterceptLogHandler:LogException(Exception, Object) UnityEngine.Debug:CallOverridenDebugHandler(Exception, Object) The entire log is here. I do have some other game installs that will start up KSP, but my frame rate will plummet as soon as I exit Kerbin atmosphere, between 5 and <1. It spams the logs with the exception above. My beyond home save does this but has a more extensive mod list. Log file is here. At this point, it's beyond my ability to troubleshoot. Does anyone have any advice? Thank you in advance!
