I am currently working on a terraforming mod that lets you moddify planetary parameters (like the atmosphere and oceans) on runntime( I realy hope that I can get it to work put it looks good) using dedicated terraforming parts. When it is finnished it will basicaly allow you to terraform an entire planet and change it to be in a state that best suits your needs (very dense atmosphere with oxygen for example or less atmosphere to make deorbiting easier). planed fetures: Methane containd in the atmosphere can be used by certian engines to reduce fuel usage. high enough oxygen levels will allow airbreathing engines to work an kerbals to breath. more oxygen =more thrust for jet engines(well kinda). the densnes(?) of the atmosphere will affect the poweroutput of solapanels. extraction of methane and CO2 from soil and ice to modify the atmosphere deorbiting asteroids release Nitrogen. deorbiting coments releases water. Importing water or melting ice to create oceans. I don't know how to modify the visuals of planets so that will have to wait. Feedback, help and questions are very welkome. I dont have any screenshots or releases yet but I plan to publish the code on Github during development. DOWNLOAD; BUILD AND USSAGE AT YOUR OWN RISK IT WILL CREAT A FOLDER IN YOUR C DIRECTORY. THIS IS WERE IT STORES THE PLANETDATA (FOR NOW). The reason for that is that I dont know how to make relative paths. figured it out. THE VALUES IN THE FILES IS IN A VERY SPECIFIC ORDER AND IF YOU SWITCH VALUES STUFF WILL BREAK. I will answer every question you have about the code. sorry for bad english.
  2. yes but it shouldnt matter because in every wersion erlier than 1.12 it starts just fine
  3. everytime I try to start KSP 1.12 it crashes. not even the loading screen loads. it trys to start and then the unity crash handler steps in and it closes. LOG Player.log error.log
  4. i dont stop developing it. i just dont want to confuse anyone and may reupload it when it has more content i haven't seen any other mod that does something like that and i just wanted to try out if it was possible
  5. so after some testing i came to the conclusion that the plugin does nothing and doesn't even got loaded. I didn't want to spread wrong information and I' going to take the plugin down(for now). but if someone wants to help me coding a working plugin I will continue developing it.
  6. i dont know why it is not working for you and i'm sorry for that. I actualy don't know why it works for me. I play with about 5-6gb of mods and without this mod it loads for about 1-3h but with it is around 30min. in addition my pc is a real potato(intel i5 mobile vversion; 8bg2400 Ram; integrated gerfics card)
  7. but rendering whit uncapet framerat can put a lot of stress on your system especially on low end pcs.

  9. yes but it is manly for the loading screen because there is no fps cap(if I remember corectly)
  10. no. my system isn't even close to 60 fps but it got stabelised at about 15-30 fps. i think it has something to do with vsync and it also speeds up the loading but i don't knwo how it does that one point on my todo list is a config to modify the target framerat but i don't no how to do that(yet).
  11. I don't know how to work with .gitignore files so i deleted the folder
  12. NOT WORKING KSP-performance-fix I don't know how but for me it cut the loading time in half and improves the performance. My intention was to set a fps limit to the loading screen but it did a little mor than that. Sorry for my bad english. I would be very happy for feedback.
