  1. I used to swear by MechJeb - But found that the new SAS options (Prograde, Retrograde etc) were the only ones I was using on MechJeb anyway, so quickly stopped. The idea of "Less is More" is definitely the best thing I've discovered about rocket building, the majority of my failed ideas in KSP have been down to over-complication and excessively large first stages. Be happy with a effective, simple design. The only other piece of advice I think I could pass on, is sub-assemblies. I find I save myself a lot of time, effort and stress if I take a first stage that I have proven works, roughly guess the maximum payload weight it could carry into orbit/sub-orbit, and then re-apply it to any of my craft that need a first-stage and are within the approximate weight limit. Saves a hell of a lot of time.
  2. CKAN! Lol, No seriously, Docking port alignment indicator/Kerbal Alarm Clock/Kerbal Engineer
  3. 0, I feel get too attached to my Kerbals and have to either rescue or revert whenever one gets into trouble - lol
  4. I tried! And failed Couldn't quite get an orbit with Laythe, just a fast fly-by! Oh well!
  5. Minimus is the absolute limit? Are you able to place it next to something to give us some scale? I'm in need of a "shuttle" for Kethane runs on eve or duna, maybe something like this would work well..
  6. I have a bit of an issue with this collection. After installing it, I get very long loading times. Any ideas how I can get around this?
  7. Exactly what I have been looking for, really appreciate it mate. Thanks.
  8. Welcome to the forums! 8)
  9. Hi Guys, Recently I\'ve been launching small satellites into orbit around Kerbal, but I wanted to go a little bigger and try a space station. Instead of downloading one I was trying to create one, however stumbled across a issue. In a lot of the space-station designs I have seen floating around the forum a almost always preset physical aspect is displayed. There are, what appear to be fuel tanks, coming out horizontally from the main body. For instance the below image: I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make fuel tanks come horizontally out from the main body of the rocket/space station... Anyone got any ideas? Cheers, TJ
  10. Damn it! I have been placing them at the top of every fuel stack in my Crafts XD.. Lol, thanks guys.
  11. Just a quick question for anyone who knows.. How many Advanced SAS modules do I actually need on a craft? Do I need one at the top of every fuel stack or just one underneath the command module? Cheers, TJ
  12. LOL! Thats amazing! You should make a video of you getting one of those into orbit!
  13. Lol, how does that thing stay stood up straight on the launch platform? EDIT: It does look really cool though! Gonna give it a try later.

    Howldy

Howldy everyone! TJ here, originally born on the Mun but decided to come to Kerble after some a friend advised me of their amazing space program. Anyway, someone showed me the game, tried 13 - 30 mins later I had pre-ordered! Amazing game going here! Really looking forward to trying out some challenges. See you on the Mun! Cheers, TJ
