  1. I would really like to contribute to the construction of KSP2 somehow, but I don't know how to code or do modeling, and I'm not sure what else there is to do.
  2. I've got my bat, the home plate is clean, and I make my swing! @Dientus, are you next?
  3. I have done that, but it only gets me the old VAB exterior, and not even the old SPH. Interior is omitted, like you said. Thank you for your advice, though.
  4. Nope. Maybe @OrdinaryKerman will post after me?
  5. Blackpar-space (Edited four times, that's what happens when you join a forum game and don't read the rules before posting!)
  6. It's not soup time yet. @Stormpilot again?
  7. I do not use steam to play KSP. And what I meant by my question was: where do I get the classic VAB and SPH internal and external for editor use?
  8. Greetings, community! My name is KSP_linux0191. I have just recently joined the KSP community, but I have been playing KSP since 2013. I also learned about the upcoming KSP2 only a short time ago, and I'm not sure what to make of it. Anyways, I can see that KSP has come a looong way, and some things were added into the game that I didn't expect. But it's an awesome game. My favorite thing to do is build in the VAB. I also wish for a way to get the VAB and SPH from pre-0.21 versions of the game, but I have not found any. Does anyone know where to get a mod or something to add those back? Thanks in advance!
  9. I probably have 10,000 hours on the game and I still haven't landed on to Laythe (without cheats)...
  10. Will the objects be movable? E.g. with a bulldozer.
  11. I'm going to TRY to do it in 0.19, but obviously I need more training for high Delta-V high TWR designs.
  12. -No 64-bit version; Actually, there is-at least on the linux distro. -No flags; The ironic thing about that is that they actually appeared only one version later (0.20)! -Different Space Center; The space center was changed two versions later, in 0.21. -No Astronaut Complex; This was also added in version 0.21 -Basically no Mk2 or Mk3 spaceplane parts; In advanced terms, the Mk2 and Mk3 parts consist of; Mk2 liquid fuel fuselage (holds enough fuel for average jet engines only) Mk2 to size 1 adapter (again, holds only enough fuel for average jet engine use) Mk3 cockpit Mk3 liquid fuel fuselage (same as first two above), and Mk3 to Mk2 adapter (same as first two above) Only five parts! Anyone can count that many on their fingers! Another thing worth mentioning is that the external command seat was not available until version 0.20. One thing that I have found out from transitioning old parts to the new simulator is that the old parts are visibly smaller than the new parts when stacked on top of each other. (This can be fixed by tweaking the "rescaleFactor" variable.)
  13. Do you know what the differences between KSP v0.19 and v1.11 are?
  14. Because the planet terrain maps were different in pre-0.21 versions of the game. Also, the unstable physics of the old game would be its own challenge.
