  1. I used one of the camera mods. I can't remember which one but it has lots of nice filters and let's you save screen shots. I was thinking I might take a series of them with my voyager probe approaching Jupiter and turn them into a gif. I think they did something like that IRL. EDIT - sorry I read that as "That was a weird entry", like i'd posted something unusual.
  2. Been building this over the last 2 or 3 days in between exploration missions. It's got a permanent crew of 2, but they're living out of the 2 supply capsules as it's got little to no storage for food and such on board. It's got Oxygen and Water recycling though, but is relying on supplies from the not-so-frequent shuttle visits for food. This is more to do with me getting to grips with TAC lifesupport though, and how i'm fitting construction around stuff. I've also recently got my Venera probe into orbit around Venus. Here are the first images it broadcast on approach And a closer look at the face In game I honestly can't tell if there's clouds or not. If there are my game may have bugged out because they're stationary if they're there, or too thick to see the surface. We shall investigate further.
  3. I think I was using the wrong sensor for it. I think this is the one (thinking back to the last time i used this a year ago), but which do I trust?

  5. Starting to put together my most faithful JIMO craft ever. This mission was a personal favourite of mine and I'm still upset it was canceled. Here it is folded up for launch Here it is unfolded. I need to find a way to get the mapping radar to work with the stock size real solar system mod, then it's off to Jupiter last stop Europa.
  6. Is it possible to get the one of the mapping mods to work with this? Also, how about a zero inclination but IRL distances? The inclinations are a pain in the ass, but I liked the distances.
  7. I've realised it may have been because i was running it in 32bit if that matters? Anyway i'm using the real planets stock size mod and that requires that and it's working totally fine now. xx

As soon as this mod has textures I get this http://i.imgur.com/TLNUpTW.png http://i.imgur.com/PUZBfgk.png None of those folders have "gamedata" in them or anything like that, I've been very careful and went over them again before typing this. I went through a few posts in this thread after googling ksp yellow lines, although everyone was describing them as dots but they look the same in their screenshots. Anyway, I couldn't really see a solution through the walls of text, something was said about another mod messing with it but this is literally all I've got installed after the problem originally happened ontop of a ton of other mods I wanted.

  10. Can anyone remember the name of the easier version of RT that lets you change the antenna settings without a connection?
  11. Is their a clouds.cfg file for people who want the auroras but don't want the clouds? I really want the EVEv2 clouds with shadows, but that mod lacks the auroras. Does anyone know if EVE and EVEv2 will clash and cause crazy bugs?
  12. What do I need to make a craft become the controler? I want to do this mission https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mars_Piloted_Orbital_Station Old remote tech had a part you'd attach to make this happen. I've noticed my kerbin stations with antennas aren't used as the base for all my other probes, so figured it won't work around another planet either.

  14. Thankyou based Frenchman of GFX. btw has it been mentioned yet that sometimes when I use map view the terrain goes really dark? Happened on my BDA install that uses DX, not happened yet on my OpenGL space exploration install.

  16. How'd you like my work? You've ruined about of a week of my life btw, i've spent days sitting building accurate fighters and then making them fight each other. The Su seems to murder everyone though. Also I don't know what sort of Su it is, lots of different Su numbers have a canard model. Also this:
  17. I've noticed the AI throttles down when missiles are passing by. I guess this is because the heat seaking missiles actually model detecting the targets heat levels. In which case I'm impressed. (I guess you've explained this before, but I've not had much interest in this mod except for a few short tries of it until the awesome AI was introduced.) EDIT - Oh yeah I forgot, does this mean we can use heatsinks to make stealth craft? Since I presume the direction they're flying in depends if you can detect the engines? Or do you mean if it's rotated in a way that makes it's silhouette larger or smaller? This is a shame, I guess I'll have to try making an F-15 or Eurofighter.
  18. I've tried making an f-22 to beat my champion super manoeuvrable su-37. But it constantly just opens the cargo bay, gets a lock, and then never fires. Am I doing something wrong? (This was happening yesterday, I came to post then noticed the update so installed that, same thing).
  19. Is that first picture in the album an eclipse? It looks great already. edit - nm looking at the sun lighting up the surface of the mun it must be over the horizon.

  21. Didn't somebody make a video of them slam dunking one from orbit through a hoop they'd built at the ksc? At work so can't search myself right now.
