  1. The nice thing on the experiments in KSP1 is that they are inspired (generally) by stuff that was put on real probes that were sent through our solar system. Maybe just more and more is not the answer here... However i like your example so maybe a few more could spice things up :). I think what you want, at least thats what i would like, is more variety in the experiments in general? In reality one spectrometer is not like the other. So why not add individual stats for power consumption, efficientcy, potency, weight... maybe randomly generated. And maybe random science events that you can observe during a flight.
  2. Mind says: totally agree Heart says: no i want everything...now
  3. Hi everyone, I have no idea if science will be reworked entirely in KSP 2 or if it will be similar. However, in KSP 1 i always thought that some science reports are quite repetetive (e.g. pressure). Now i can totally understand that inventing creative science reports for tons of situations is a lot of work, so... Why not outsource this to the community. Lets say player A is in Kerbin orbit at lets say 314 159 m. He makes a science report and thinks: "Hmm i have a good idea for a science report text." Then he writes a science report... e.g. something like "We made an outstanding discovery, the pressure at this attitude shows an anomality to the barometric height formular. First speculations link this anomaly to a recent dessert accident involving Jeb and Valentina." Now i am thinking about some like/dislike functinality so player B is in a similar situation and gets a random science report, i.e. the one from player A. He reads the text from player A thinks nice or not nice, and likes or dislikes it. Player C does not want to read player generated content, so he turns it off. Any opinions?
