  1. I am all for proper documentation, but with any luck, KSP 2 will have wheels that behave like actual wheels. I am still trying to figure out how to make my planes not porpoise down the runway on landing...
  2. You could try CTRL + CLICK, or do a 2 finger click (on trackpad). There may be some other gestures on trackpad, but honestly I don't use Apple devices. https://www.tomsguide.com/how-to/how-to-right-click-on-mac
  3. Hello, and welcome to the forum. Unfortunately, you don't get science from recovering Kerbals. The experiments will be logged in the archive, but with no value as you mentioned. In order to receive the science, you need to either transmit it back to Kerbin, or recover the vessel with the science stored on it. A couple of tips to avoid your situation (rolling off cliffs and such): When you get on an reentry trajectory that you feel good about, you can quicksave by hitting F5 (well before you actually arrive). This gives you the ability to load back to that point by hitting F9 if you encounter a problem. When you load back, you will be far enough away to make adjustments to your trajectory, so you miss whatever obstacle you hit. Another thing is that if you are using a command pod, they can act as wings, so by tilting and rolling the pod, you can fly it down through the atmosphere to some extent. Often times, this gives you enough control to avoid obstacles, and hit a more precise landing spot.
  4. Where are these tree configs located? I messed around a bit, but to no effect. It appears to be the same situation as before, however, I didn't have to remove the city lights textures to avoid clipping. Not entirely sure why.
  5. I want to say this is normal... as long as it only happens briefly on the loading screen. I have seen it before, usually only for a few seconds, then it loads as normal. Not sure what causes this.
  6. It is on the planet pack authors to support Parallax, so I would keep an eye over on the GU thread for updates. The current advice is to roll back to the previous version of Parallax, because the configs need to be redone for 2.0 (I assume you are trying to use 2.0).
  7. Could you maybe make this an optional setting? Tree collisions would be pretty entertaining. Excellent work btw. I can't wait to give this new version a try! AVP should work... IIRC all I had to do was remove the city lights textures included with AVP, as they fight with the Parallax ground scatters. With that said, I haven't had a chance to test the new Parallax version yet. In my experience it's mainly planet packs (and I think planet rescales) that break it. TUFX can cause some visual artifacts on terrain, but you can get rid of that by disabling ambient occlusion in the TUFX config. I can't recall having major issues with anything else...
  8. I believe "HyperEdit" is the goto for this: Edit: I should say, I think you can achieve the same via the in game cheat menu ALT + F12 as well.
  9. You can check with the "Nvidia GeForce Experience" app, but if you don't have that installed, you can download the latest driver via: https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/190552/en-us/ Edit: FYI, keeping on the latest driver will give you optimal performance/stability on the latest games (generally speaking).
  10. As @modus mentioned, the logs can help diagnose what is going on here, and you should ensure that particularly your graphics driver is up to date. Does this problem persist if you start a new save? There could be something wonky going on with your existing saves due to updating from an older version of the game, though I can't recall that being a widespread issue... You could try reverting your game version back to the last version you remember playing (in steam you go to Properties > Betas, and set the version you want), just to see if that does anything.
  11. Never enough beans. This is the best type of flying.
  12. It's bean a while since the last update... I am growing concerned (not to mention more beans). Edit: Surplus beans are being buried in undisclosed locations, so as not to be wasted.
  13. I haven't played with it in years, but there was that Station Science mod. Now being maintained as MOAR Station Science: Might be worth adding to the list, idk.
  14. Go for it. I guess just credit/link the original, and make sure it's named something to clearly to indicate what it is (E launched via Strato-1). Interesting. I never really had to use struts in my testing (granted, there was some slight wobbling). Did you have a catastrophic issue without any struts?
