  1. Any fix for decouplers getting stuck on stuff? I can't get a rover to the Mun because I'm not very good at building rockets and my "solutions" all end up having a decoupler get stuck on an engine bell or something and causing issues.
  2. I also feel that having a fuel flow priority setup (I think KSP1 had it) would be nice. I would like to use the fuel from my drop tanks on my planes before I start using the main fuel tanks.
  3. I really hope that procedural wings get the ability to hold fuel. I made a pretty nifty plane with huge wings, but they hold no fuel, which is kind of annoying.
  4. I'm looking forward to the new procedural wings. I think spaceplanes are much cooler than traditional rockets, so having a fleet of SSTOs of all sizes with better looking wings (and easier to make) is going to be a game-changer for me. I couldn't imagine going back to KSP1 after 9am tomorrow (EST). Hype is at an all time high, I don't know how I'm going to sleep tonight!
  5. Moore's law hits hard sometimes. Just realized my 2080Ti is 4 years old... dang. Not time for an upgrade, but its definitely no longer at the top.
  6. Yeah I like that more. It was hard to look at some of the UI elements, they made my eyes hurt. I'm not big on the pixelated font/style.
  7. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't model it, since we don't even know if we'll have the parts to make variable geometry wings. I would like to see it, but I don't expect to (at least without mods).
  8. It looks like 4 stacked tanks rather than a single one. You can see 4 equally lengthed rails/grab bars(?) and repeating textures/features.
  9. I really hope we get variable wing mechanics and physics... I'd love to make stuff that takes advantage of variable wing geometry.
  10. Looks fantastic. We got a higher quality version in the discord. Sounds are incredible, Mk2 nose cone (my beloved) makes another scene. Cannot wait to get my hands on those shiny parts and the paint tool. VERY EXCITED!
  11. Buying day one (as soon as I get home from class anyway, can't skip any unfortunately), so I'll have some time to see how the Steam reviews stack up. While I would hate to see it, I'm expecting mixed reviews (about 70% positive) due to unforeseen bugs and whatnot. We'll have to see though.
  12. Probably because the devs themselves are using various (likely larger) aspect ratios, for that sweet sweet screen real estate. That's my guess, anyway.
  13. Hoping we get some stuff from content creators tomorrow! It is Friday after all, and a Friday right after starship engine fires PLUS CCs getting hands-on with the game (maybe not hands on but at least more than we have)
  14. Time will still pass slow, I'll just hate myself more ; Not too much longer, but it definitely feels much farther away than it is.
  15. My semester is do darn boring; Differential equations, Physics 2, and Statics. Everything is taking so loooooooong
  16. The past week has felt longer than the past 3 years, I don't know if I'm gonna make it. I can feel the grey hairs coming in...
  17. In response to questions about the low/poor scatter
  18. Definitely looks that way; wiggly chutes are very exciting
  19. Clouds have been all over the place, and I've been one of those people who's not happy about it (they said they would look like this: https://youtu.be/WoiFZGwy1fU). Granted, these new clouds look a lot better than what we've seen recently, so it's really hard to say. We can only wait until the 24th to see what they actually look like, and given how many things have changed visually over the last month or so between screenshots, I've decided to avoid starting anything about it. Those clouds do look good though, if a bit odd.
  20. While not confirmed that this is the case for every clip or screenshot, one of the Community Managers over on the Discord said that, in response to comments about low FPS/bad visuals, the Unity editor has poor FPS (or whatever it's "preview screen" is), and different builds may have different settings enabled. We've seen the sneak peeks improve in quality over the last couple of weeks, which is nice. We also know that the gameplay shown to content creators back in 2019 at PAX East (West maybe idk) was smooth, and didn't appear to have jagged lines. Apparently it can take days to get the game from the Unity editor to a "game package," which would be what we'll be playing, so often times devs just use the preview window. This is only from what I've seen myself, and cannot confirm that they are using said preview window. It would explain a lot of things if they were though. As for stuff like the clouds... I have no idea.
  21. It's possible, but if I had to guess they've changed it many times now. Sometimes its had a green section, now its got a purple section, and one time it even had like a red streak through the sky (although that was on Kerbin so it could very well be the purple one but atmosphere yada yada)
  22. I think I like this purple/blue one better than the greenish one we've seen previously. Maybe we'll be able to change it, or maybe it'll be different at different systems? Also Mk2 nose cone my beloved, how I've longed for you. Now I can finally use the inline Mk2 cockpit without having to use adapters to round nose cones.
  23. Nothing's stopping you from calling out ; if I didn't have to worry so much about differential equations, I wouldn't bother going to class that day, but alas...
  24. Uploaded 7 days ago, but with 300 views even now. I didn't know it existed until it was posted by CM Dakota over on the Discord
