I support this idea

This idea could actually have some potential, having a dark, shadowy rogue planet to explore with just the lights from your spacecraft would make for an interesting scenario and creepy vibe

With all the other graphics and physics simulation occurring at the same time hypothetical ray-tracing would be running, I feel that the game would be unplayable in terms of frame rate

Doesn't this already exist in KSP 1?
