After bailing from a vessel, recovering the kerbal, and reverting to vab soft locks on the confirmation screen but the game doesn't crash.

Also the plane was going around 100 m/s

I was flying a rocket-powered plane (x-15 replica) when I ran out of fuel. I decided to bail and when Bill left the cockpit the joint between the part behind the cockpit separated from the ones behind. I also found out that kerbals don't have parachutes yet either.

Flight ui is displaying when first opening save after booting up the game. The opening menu is not visible.
