  1. It is similar, but the bug first appeared when I loaded back in after an F5 F9. I don't think I was paused, as all that happened was that I crashed my rover and immediately clicked F9. Thank you so much for finding this post for me though! And in regards to your question about spamming, I didn't try, but I did pause/unpause about 10 times with no effect. Also, I forgot to mention that when I updated to Patch 5 in desperation, the glitch was resolved. Kinda weird that restarting the game doesn't fix it, but updating does (especially if this isn't a known glitch), right?
  2. Reported Version: v0.1.4.1 | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 10 | CPU: Ryzen 5 6-core | GPU: GTX 1660 Super | RAM: 32 gb I was driving a small rover around on Eve, when I reloaded a quicksave and the terrain broke. Debris icons that were landed on Eve started teleporting around the screen, and everything was a mess. Jumping to a higher timewarp and going back to x1 does nothing, F5 F9 does nothing and Map Screen cycling also does nothing. Interestingly, neither does restarting the game. When I went back to the KSC, even the menu with the options of which building to enter's background screen had the same effect. All of the screens with terrain visible (excluding the Map Screen and Tracking Station) had the same glitch. The VAB doesn't, but if I launch from it, the glitch will start again. Definitely worth mentioning that I am still on Patch 4, because I was scared to update while flying interplanetary. Any help would be appreciated, as I can do nothing except for build crafts right now. Thanks! P.S. I'll link a video below, just in case. Included Attachments: 2023-10-2808-53-53.mkv
  3. Banned for having a painful to read number in your post.
  4. Don't know if this helps, but if you click it for long enough (or just wait) it will make a "ding" sound and the bar at the top that says [Kerbol / Kerbin / KSC / VAB] will disappear for a fraction of a second then reappear and set your launch are to "Launchpad 1". Also, I click the launch button and then pressed space bar (I think) and it made the Kerbal voice sound-effect that happens when you start you engines and then played the inflight music. Soooooooo annoying.
  5. Also, this seems to correspond with my vehicle saves being deleted. I wrote about this and found a work around over in this thread:
  6. Hi, I've been experiencing an infuriating bug every time I try to launch a craft. I'll build a craft, launch it, revert back to VAB, make changes to my craft, and the launch button just won't function. I can press it, it will make a "click" sound, but my craft won't launch. All other UI still functions. If you press the button enough times, eventually it will work. Any ideas?
  7. Okay, i've checked and all of my crafts (and hopefully all of yours) exist. It's just fairly complicated to find them. Really sorry if your on MacOS, but I only have a (semi) solution for Windows users. First, you will want to quit KSP 2 for safety. You don't have to, but I would recommend it. So, go down to you Windows search bar and type in this: %appdata% Click on Open Folder. It will open a hidden folder in File Explorer. Your path will say this: [INSERT USERNAME] > AppData > Roaming Click on "AppData" Now, click on "Intercept Games" Next, click on "Kerbal Space Program 2" Then, "Saves" Then, "Single Player" Then, click on you campaign name, for example, "Autostrut Aerospace" Then, click on "Workspaces". Then, find the craft you're looking for within that folder. There should be three different versions of the craft, all with different file extensions. Open the one with the ".json" extension. Open it in Notepad. Then, you can select the text, and copy it with "ctrl + C" Reopen KSP 2, and enter the VAB. Once in the VAB, you can paste the craft in with "ctrl + V" There's your long lost craft! Enjoy! (This will insert the entire workspace.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Thanks for trying my fix. I hope all works smoothly on your end. Thanks!
  8. I'm having this glitch too. I will make a craft, then save it, fly it around, then recover. Of course, when you recover, it sends you back to the KSC menu/building select thingy. When you click on the VAB, it will be clear of crafts (same as KSP 1). The only change is all of your saved crafts are gone. You can't load them, you can't launch them straight from the launchpad menu. The weird thing is, you can overwrite the lost vessels. If you go to save a new craft, sometimes it will give you a list of crafts you can overwrite, complete with a craft image , craft name and workspace name. But, you can't load them from that screen. The crafts aren't deleted (at least in my version of the bug), but they're inaccessible via normal means. Also, if you launch a craft, then revert to VAB, your craft will still be there, but the launch button is unreliable. It sometimes takes close to 100 clicks to get it to work. This glitch seems to be random, except that it only occurs after reverting. Weird. I'll check my save info to see if my crafts still "exist", and I'll post with an update later.
