  1. Finishing up my SpaceShipTwo rebuild with the added SP+ parts
  2. See the "[0.23.5]" part of the thread title? It hasn't yet been updated to use the 0.24 toolbar.
  3. You're correct. Not all of that force is going into accelerating the craft since the thrusters are angled.
  4. (Heavily) inspired by a similar plane EJ_SA built on his stream: It also makes some pretty awesome wreckage:
  5. Awesome work! I think you found the perfect spot between part count and accuracy.
  6. I just finished a similar (albeit fair uglier) project based on something EJ_SA built on his stream!
  7. I'd suggest just using mediafire to share the craft file, and including some pictures. Imgur will give you an easy bbcode link for forums. This thread is pretty awkward to read as is.
  8. It's not even a real concept http://jamesmargerum.deviantart.com/art/Moon-Rocket-Jupiter-Class-315090176
  9. Still trying to find a way to keep the part count down on Ares V. It may end up being quite similar to the old version.
  10. You're awfully demanding for someone who has contributed absolutely zero time and energy to creating anything of your own. Calling someone's work "hideous" because one small portion of it isn't colored in a historically accurate way is the epitome of being an asshole.
  11. If you're old enough to have seen the moon landings growing up, you should possess the maturity to not pull this kind of crybaby bull****. "Oh no, a stranger is putting his time and energy into creating something, and then sharing it with everyone else, but it's not quite exactly what I imagined it should be." Frizzank doesn't owe you anything.
  12. Updated OP with new Ares I and EFT-1 crafts. Ares V is in the works. The only question is, should Ares V be built to scale with the new SLS parts? This would drastically reduce the part count as well as the size, but it would probably look less accurate.
  13. I'll get right on updating these when 0.23.5 is released. The new LES, SRB, and fuel tanks should make the whole endeavour far simpler and less resource-intensive.
  14. That is incredible! I would buy one of those in a heartbeat.
  15. Wow, you did an amazing job! The detail on that orbital module is incredible for its size.
  16. Well, don't call yourself a "stickler for details" when you can't be bothered to do 10 seconds of googling to find out what they're really called. I'd say calling them "fairings" is certainly more accurate than "slop handles."
  17. Sounds like [something] panels to me, not "slop handles" In fact, if I had to guess, I'd say they're SLA panels (Spacecraft LEM Adapter panels) EDIT: Confirmed, they're SLA panels. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apollo_(spacecraft)
  18. Just a note, the F-1 engines had an area of very dark exhaust right below the engine bell, seen here:
