Then why isnt the "gauge" gradual :S It should be a fix for 0.17 *Fix the atmpsheric guage from part to part into gradual.

Hey guys, a thing that I've always wondered. You know the thing that tells you in which part of the Atmosphere you are. Well that thing has like 4(if im not wrong) "stages" of atmosphere, is that how the in game mechanics works aswell? That when you go to a part of the atmosphere it emidietly gets thicker/thinner and stays that way until the next part of atmosphere? Or does it gradually increase/decrease in density?

Yea I guess Ballons would be a pretty cool way to get above atmospehere on high density planets, sort of like a parachute but reversed
