  1. I can't see the gameplay appeal of a full IVA system though. Enhanced cockpits with MFD's would add a lot to the game, but why put in so much work to move kerbals between capsules in first person? Are you really going to want to go IVA to move Jeb back and forth between a hitch hiker pod and the command pod multiple times? Might be fun the first couple times, but after that it would get boring. The full IVA idea is like the original resources idea, sounds good in theory but just isn't fun to play. I think the tycoon style space center is a much more likely option.
  2. Great work on the mod, its amazing to see how quickly you're adding new features. When you update to a new version though, could you add a link to the release notes on the first page?
  3. Cool stuff, I'm thinking of trying to conduct an Apollo Venus Flyby type mission using Nova's new wet workshop mod, and this is really helpful. I had been having a hard time trying to figure out how to manage the free return trajectory.
  4. Amazing addition Nova! I was recently reading about the proposed Apollo Venus flyby mission and dreaming about how to do it in KSP, and low and behold you have provided. As previously suggested I hope you can add wet workshops to the stock game sometime down the road.
  5. I remember C7 saying something about wanting to redo a lot of the space plane parts including the Mk2 and Mk3 cockpits, so he doesn't want to make an IVA for them until he has finalized the exterior models.
  6. Yeah. I'm surprised at the lack of gold foil. Nova's old prop kit mod had all sorts of gold covered doodads. But I love the new 1.25 m parts look in blacks, grays and whites as opposed to the old ones.
  7. Ah nothing like WIG craft. The US coast guard and the UN thought they were going to be the next big thing, so every mariner has to learn all about them and how to not hit them. Thank goodness they didn't think about submarine planes, though they do seem extremely Kerbal, especially with boosters added!.
  8. The KSPX mod was supposed to have a soyuz style 2 seater pod. Now that the mod maker (I forgot her name) is working for Squad hopefully that pod will be added to the game in the next update or SOONâ„¢.
  9. Problem is getting to the correct re-entry point. My space plane actually flew very well (just ran out of jet fuel trying to find some place flatish to land).
  10. Its been exactly one year since I purchased KSP and today I finally flew my own custom built SSTO space plane into orbit! However, the landing was distinctly kerbal; I royally undershot KSC and Jeb ended up lithobraking into a hillside in the desert. So to avoid future spaceplane impactor experiments, what is the best re-entry trajectory to land spaceplanes back at KSC (Assuming a 100 x 100 orbit for simplicities sake).
  11. I'm tired of killing my Kerbals all the time in deep space. Some probe type pods would be great!
  12. I\'d also like to thank the KSP team. I\'ve played around with Orbiter a bit, and while its a good it doesn\'t hold a candle to KSP. There\'s just something so endearing about watching those little Kerbal faces contort in terror as you launch a jury-rigged rocket skyward. Keep up the great work!
