Research & Development Overview *Permanent Update Thread
TelluriumCrystal replied to Synapse86's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Something along these lines should suffice: "This mod adds a button at the bottom of the KSC overview that opens a research & development overview screen. Here you can see every experiment you have ever performed, how much science you gained from said experiments, and how much each one has left in its pool. You can also sort them by orbital body, science left, science gained, type of experiment, etc. I also plan to add a "science kerbals" functionality later on that will allow you to seek advice from the KSC's science staff as to where you should plan to explore next." Hope that helped. You have my permission to copy and past if you wish. -
[0.23.5] TreeLoader - Custom Career Tech-tree Loader 1.1.5
TelluriumCrystal replied to r4m0n's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
r4m0n, might I suggest that you add some sort of description field for each tech tree (that would be visible when you have it selected)? That way we can figure out which one we want in-game instead of trying to dig through this thread to figure out what tech trees do what. -

Thirteen years.
TelluriumCrystal replied to dlrk's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I dunno... I'll actually be kinda sad when KSP is finally finished. For some reason a game that gets updated every several months is extremely appealing to me (even if it is extremely buggy sometimes). -

Research & Development Overview *Permanent Update Thread
TelluriumCrystal replied to Synapse86's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Possible minor bug: If I recover a craft then immediately enter the overview screen, the displayed values are not updated with the science that was just collected. This is corrected whenever I select one of the filters, though sorting does not correct it. Edit: Just discovered the jokes. I am amused! -
Ah, ok. Thanks!

[0.22] ISA MapSat 4.0 Dev Build
TelluriumCrystal replied to Innsewerants's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I fully support the idea of asking another mod author to come forward and recreate Mapsat for 0.22. That being said if Innsewerants were to suddenly return, it would only be fair to let him take over development if he wished to. -
Just curious, but how are you guys putting the minimalistic flag texture over your flag designs? I have been messing around in photoshop with it but haven't been able to figure it out.

Research & Development Overview *Permanent Update Thread
TelluriumCrystal replied to Synapse86's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
If I may, I would like to suggest that you lower the number of decimal places to one because that is the level of accuracy provided in-game. Not to mention my OCD requires me to get them all to 0. -
He's... um... well, I actually don't know where he is.

Huh, when I went and tried to use this I got the kethane overlay on the map, but didn't get the parts in the VAB (in a existing career mode game). Is this not set up properly for career mode yet? My impression was that the parts defaulted to unlocked if they weren't specified a spot in the research tree. Was I wrong?

It's pretty obvious that math runs the universe. One can plan out entire space missions before launch and know exactly what is needed for said mission to succeed. This is what is done (usually quite successfully) in real life. I wanna know how to do it in KSP. So my question it pretty simple: What math must I do to determine if my spacecraft is capable of launching to orbit on a given body, reaching other planets/moons, landing on a body, determine the max lifting capability of a launcher, etc.? Also, how might I use maths to make my spacecraft more efficient? Don't be afraid to throw large complex formulas at me, I'll figure it out... probably. Thanks in advance for any info!

Biggest Problem Facing Humanity
TelluriumCrystal replied to Apotheosist's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Overpopulation is, in my opinion, the biggest risk to humanity right now. The solution? Lets go colonize other planets! -
[1.2] Procedural Fairings 3.20 (November 8)
TelluriumCrystal replied to e-dog's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I'm just going to pop in here and say awesome job with these! Now I don't have to make the payload fit the fairing anymore! -
This is an awesome data collecting tool! Nice work! I am having some issues with the volume of data though... What are you guys using to view this? As far as science instruments go, here is my suggestion: Latitude & Longitude = GPS

Your Definition of an Accomplished/Professional KSP Player.
TelluriumCrystal replied to Flixxbeatz's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Someone who doesn't just launch rockets into orbit, but who actually understands how they're launching rockets into orbit.
