Heliosphere Science

Adding more solar biomes is a great idea. Another potential solar biome could be those sunspots that are now visible, or temporarily in the form of CMEs. -
I think adding more landing strips with helpful refueling ports would be an excellent way to make aircraft/space planes even more fun. We already have the island landing strip, why not add more? A way to refuel from the KSP runway would also be great, especially when the monetary system is implemented.

Indeed it does, thanks!

Those B9 cargo bays are solid style, is there a download link for only the cargo bay related parts or should I just download the whole pack then trim out everything but the cargo bays and related scripts? Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the Buran Energia booster have engines on the EFT? EDIT: changed like to link :|

Ideas and improvements for laythe:
kaphraxus replied to Fixr's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Due to Laythe's proximity to Jool I would expect tidal forces to have an effect similar to low scale tectonics around the equator. No plates sure but I could definitely see some felsic flows drawn up from the interior. -

Just one extra part.

Two kerbal cupola module. -
I for one would love more uses for mystery goo, it's really quite an interesting substance.

RCS check. What I'm getting is navball drift. That's just caused by my orbit?

So I'm going about my first docking procedures. Two pretty small ships with the 2.5m ASAS on them but despite that, they both won't stay on heading for longer than 10 seconds or so. Of course, me being the docking novice, it takes for ever to line one ship up only for the other to have drifted off heading. Each ship is composed of a skipper, x300-32 tank, ASAS, and mk1-2 command pod. Am I doing something wrong with my ASAS or is it just doomed?

To the new update.

I agree that sentient life should never be included. However, I like the idea of finding extra-terrestrial algae floating in the seas of Laythe and returning a sample for further study. I think this would be great even if this is only implemented as science flavor text. -
I think radiation is a great idea as long as its implementation is simple and user-friendly. I agree with vexx that too much micromanagement would be a bad thing but I do think radiation could be implemented in a simplified manner. Maybe if parts like reactors/NERVA's had a radiation value (maybe millisieverts or a kerbalized equivalent) that they produced in a certain radius/direction of exhaust. Kerbals could die (or be impaired but that might be to complicated) if they spent enough time within these radii. There could also be stock, radially attaching radiation shielding parts that would mitigate or cancel the effect of radiation on manned capsules. Additionally, Jool (and maybe other planets as well) could have defined radiation belts, that produced similar effects when a spacecraft passed into them. These belts could be visible in map view (maybe after proper research has been done in career mode, or the proper part is attached to the spacecraft). I think that random solar flares and the like would be another great way to add some suspense. If you want to get a little more complicated, radiation could effect probe cores and scientific instruments but that might be getting more complicated. Overall, I think this would be a great addition to future KSP updates that could be handled in a simple and effective manner.
