  1. This is probably my favourite KSP mod ever, fantastic work on giving space stations a reason to exist and to expand! I'm experiencing a bug that stops me from completing the experiment contracts though. I have a plant growth unit that launches and docks with my lab in orbit, and when I complete the experiment and finalise the results, everything in the contract is looking good -- all conditions except for 'recover at Kerbin' are checked green. When I undock my experiment though, the contract conditions reset as if I hadn't done any of it. I recover the unit on Kerbin, but get nothing. Am I missing something obvious, or is this a bug?
  2. This is probably a dumb question, but is there a way to fix the orientation/controls of my telescope? When I'm using the GUI, WASD controls are all messed up. A+D move up and down, and S+W move left and right. Doesn't seem to matter how I orient the craft itself. It's confusing. Have I done something retarded, or is this a known issue?
  3. It concerns me because it sounds a lot like they just want to get 1.0 out the door, so they can say that they've 'finished'. Regardless of any promises about continued updates, they can basically drop the game at that point if they want to, or at the very least cut development down to a skeleton crew -- slowing any bug fixes or updates considerably. Because hey, it's not an alpha or a beta anymore, it's not early access! We 'finished' it! We slapped that big ol' "ONE POINT OH" on there, so it's done. Surely nobody can deny that there is something extremely on-the-nose about jumping from the first 'beta' release -- during which they assured everyone that the beta phase would have multiple updates, bug fixes and features being fleshed out etc -- straight to a final version. They have directly contravened what they said would happen. However much kool-aid the people on this forum want to drink, and lavish their undying affection on Squad, there is something very off about this new plan.
  4. I pledge to buy a THIRD copy if they have another Beta release.
  5. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/content/313-Beta-Than-Ever-The-Future-of-KSP There’s still the next update to go, and after that, a period of Beta updates until 1.0, and even after that, we still have more stuff planned. So worry not, we’re going to be at it for quite a while. a period of Beta updates until 1.0 At this point I really get the impression that either (a) Squad is deliberately misleading the community and attempting to rush out a release so that they can wash their hands of the game, or ( Squad is completely mismanaged and/or incompetent, and the left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing. Neither are very encouraging. I will be seeking a refund if this is going to be the final release version, since I can only play the game for around an hour before the memory leaks get out of control and it crashes. Apparently the glaring stability issues are less of a priority than female kerbal skins.
  6. It's absolutely not ready. A 'beta' period that didn't even last *one* update is absolutely appalling, and Squad should without equivocation be ashamed of themselves. 0.91 needs to be a bug fix and optimisation pass, and nothing more. Bugs that have riddled the game for years (buggy UI, falling through terrain, phantom forces), and the terrible memory leaks and stability problems need to be squashed. That's the whole point of a BETA period. THEN they can add the aero overhaul and resources etc that people want. And female kerbals? What a joke. If it sounds like I'm upset, it's because I am. This game has the greatest potential of probably any that I have ever played, and to see it being pointlessly squandered is a damn crying shame.
  7. I want 'If found, please return to PO Box 1, KSC' and 'If you\'re reading this, I\'ve lost my launch stage!'
  8. Ah! Sorry about that, thanks for pointing it out.
  9. Hello! ;D First post on the forums here, though I\'ve been trawling them for any scrap of .16 info I can get... :-[ That\'s beside the point, however! Introducing my first (relatively) functional jet aircraft - the Kendred A-5 Angel. Named for it\'s first pilot Kendred Kerman - who braved five generations of prototypes and failures of the Angel series before piloting the first successful flight in the A-5 Angel. After also contributing several designs and improvements on the A-5, Kendred was killed in an unfortunate and misguided attempt at launching the prototype A-6 into orbit. Gone, but not forgotten. :\'( It is a highly manoeuvrable, low altitude stunt plane/fighter. Some notes on the craft: [li]Highly manoeuvrable - capable of upwards of 20g turns.[/li] [li]Very short take off and landing - would be a suitable aircraft carrier fighter if weaponised.[/li] [li]Extremely well balanced.[/li] [li]Leather interior and icy A/C for those baking Kerbin summers.[/li] The Kendred A-5 Angel Kendred Kermans young protégé, Tomlie Kerman, demonstrating his skill and confidence in the hotseat. Any feedback would be welcome! *Requires C7 Aerospace Pack and NovaPunch Remix EDIT: If you decide to take it for a ride, be sure to hit caps-lock and turn on fine control - this baby can roll. Fast.
