  1. yeah i usually end up with 200 plates on inside of ship to make it float properly The mod that is missing is Mechjeb
  2. can you take some pictures of the ship so we could see what it looks like? will be easier to say what is wrong if we can see it because it simply sounds like your ship is too heavy right now, but it might be other things
  3. sometimes my ships do the same... i can do it with the gull stock craft aswell so im guessing its just the psysics of the game being potato XD
  4. yeah i did a complete reinstall of all game and the mods for this mod I have made a ship now first ship in the newest version... bridge is fugly but apart from that im rather happy it have the following stats: 345 parts 42,461.4T Height: 61.5m Width: 29.1m Lenght: 207.9m Weapons: 6 X 12.5"/38 Naval Gun 8 X 3.7 cm SK C/30 AA Gun Double 1 X Goalkeeper CIWS 2 X Vickers 14 inch /45 Naval Twin turret 1 X 46cm /45 Type 94 Naval Triple Turret 6 X Mark 14 Triple Mount Torpedo Tubes it also have some smoke countermeassures just for the lolz it is powed by 2 Large ship turbines, 2 electric generators and 6 large ship boilers
  5. i might just be an absolute potato but i simply cant get that kerbpaint thing to work.. i removed the old version of module manager inside its plugin folder and put the newest version out into the main gamedata folder... any1 know what im doing wrong? because right now my ship is just one big white block of snow EDIT: NVM i got it to work just the game being potato
  6. i only have the mods you listed in the OP... it seems im just retarded with ships because i always need to overdo it to make it float
  7. i had loads of problems with the stock frigate aswell.. i ended up just building my own ship like in the tutorial.. or maybe just make a square and fill it with structure plates to help it float... just to see if you can make it work.. when i build ships i start with the base ship ans see where i need more lift or if it even floats and then i start putting in structure plates if it needs more flotation

  9. maybe if possible you could make a "hole" in rear of ship where the torps could be on inside... otherwise i would say on the rear you can see what i mean by hole in this pic of a mogami class cruiser just under the scout plane catapults you see two small gaps into side of ship
  10. i guess tonnage would be better than prize since you then could either go heavy for armor or weapons where funds might be harder to balance... but MP would be so darn sweet
  11. well most of the ship is armed with 3 structural plates like i said i have a tendency to overdo things
  12. yeah the guns is a bit big for it... it was more or less based on different trimarans but i sort ran out of parts to get the correct shape.. if i had to redo it i would most likely use a bigger keel as this was the smallest one. problem then would be that i would defo end up with a part count of 20000 or something thing is i have a tendency to overdo things so usually i end up in one big lagfest it counts 403 parts weighing in at 26,666.3 Tons according to the game its 29.7 meters heigh, 53.4m wide and 58.2 meters long this is what it looks like before i launch it I can try and sail the stock ship out towards it and shoot a little at it aaaand a video is up.. sry about the slowness.. but its around 650 parts in close proximity the only thing that got destroyed by those shots were the fuel tanks up on top of the ship.
