Perhaps update Firespitter?

For some reason all the UI in KSP breaks when I try to use this, and it says that the firespitter plugin is incompatible with .24.2

Since my flag for some reason didn't work in .24 I made this as a replacement

This save has since been deleted, but I thought this ship was cool. I called it the Telega tanker. Underpowered with only 2 nukes, but it worked. And it was very red XD.

I'm sure that this has already been covered, but there are a cubic grunch ton of pages to this and I don't have the patience to read through all thousand or so posts. Is there anyone that is taking requests for EVA and IVA helmets? So far, that is the only thing I want a custom replacement for. The suits are fine as they are, and I can find a good skybox from what is already set up. Thanks for the help!
EDIT: I found the post that explains how to extract the files from the asset file, and I have attempted to alter the files, however I don't have any programs that can handle a dds file. I don't have the money for photoshop, and I wouldn't want to buy it just to use it on one aspect of a single game. Thanks again!
I use this to convert them to PNGs, then I edit them with gimp, which is free
just don't forget to flip the image vertically as it'll be upside down -

Something I think squad should eventually implement is an optional feature where the kerbal's name is written on thenside of the helmet.

I'll add another post to this quick posting thread then... so is there ANYONE willing to make that Kerbal suit and helmet I asked about earlier?...
I suppose I could try, I'm definatly not the best but as no one else has said anything I'll give it a shot, Send me a PM with all details (main colour, any parts of the suit that sould reamain unchanged etc.) and I'll see what I can do.

Wow those suits are amazing! Are you going to make IVA suits too?
And Tingle, it would be awesome with a rendom suit thing like with the heads, one question though, how does it randomize it? At launch, everytime you start the game or go on EVA etc.?

ok i need help. Im trying to make my own kerbal flight suit, blue and white, but i cannot even find a texture map of a kerbal, and none are included in UniverseReplacer can anyone help? am i looking in the wrong place?
Btw, use this for converting file formats if your image editing software can't handle .dds files

I remember the landing gear we all loved, that would snap off if you treated it anything like the landing gear we have now. It made Mün landings so much more rewarding. I remember how when kerbals died you'd have their little portrait become a static type thing and it would say KIA.
I started playing around .15, back then I had no clue how orbit's worked and I'd just fly straight up, then I found Scott Manley, or szyzyg as it was, and I was so excited to finally reach orbit, then the Mün, then when I landed on the Mün, so rewarding! But now that you do those things so often, it becomes very bland, and almost a bit tideous, I guess I gotta try someting new
