  1. Hello, I'm back after some years and noticed so many changes here... A new forum (again), new KSP versions, new content, changes in the staff and a new publisher. I'm happy to see SQAUD still working an KSP, creating updates and new stuff (although the frequency of updates has decreased a lot). And thank you for keep giving us old players new stuff for free. It's really something you don't need to do - you deserve the money for all you have accomplished so far - but it's a nice touch. Thank you! I'm not playing KSP anymore as much as I did 6 years ago (or was it longer? ), but I will test the new version and the expansion pack (I'm still hoping to see the promised multiplayer after all the many years ). Maybe I'll look around in the forum too, to see what has changed, new people, ect. What I wanted to say about this topic: I'm not really a fan of takeovers by big publishers. I like Take-Two Interactive, because they supported some of my favourite games in the past. But from my experience, small indie-companies are much more creative while they stay independent. So I am a little worried too, but I hope that you will continue to be so creative and wish you good luck. PS: Is the space kraken still alive?
  2. Polar orbits have a "wrong direction"? Can someone explain what the point of this rule is, please?
  3. No, they don't. You can drive with them around, even if they are fully deployed and working.
  4. *Sigh* You do not seem to understand me. I don't care about Fahrenheit. I just said in case some of you use it - just for fairness. I'm from Europe and normally use Celsius. I know what units space agencies use, you really don't need to tell me that. I just would like to have a button next to the info popup of the HOT2 Thermometer. These kinds of buttons are used everywhere in the game for many parts (including the Thermometer). Currently, the thermometer shows only a number without a unit. I guess this is just a bug. The other thing was the suggestion to toggle the unit to show the another calculated value. E. g., 277K [> Click >] 14.85°C [> Click >] 277K. I really don't understand why such a simple suggestion needs to be discussed like that... No, it wouldn't. This has absolutely nothing to do with it. Again: I'm talking about what the HOT2 Thermometer part shows - I'm not talking about the internal calculations of the game.
  5. The more the better, so why choose only one? But I would like to have another (in my opinion) important thing: Assembly in EVA mode. KSP features decoupling, docking and ressource transfers and now even mining. But one essential thing is the ability to assemble things while on a mission, like IRL. Especially for ressource mining this is a must have. It is a little bit weird to dock with a ship to a ground station just to be able to transfer ressources. I use KAS and KIS for this (to attach pipes), which are the most useable mods for me. They make everything much more realistic and extend the abilities of the game. It would be nice to have this in the game but on the other side I like how the mods are now and I fear that Squad could make it worse. So as long as KAS and KIS are compatible with KSP, I have everything I need.
  6. The 2HOT thermometer showed the temperature in celsius units previously, but now it shows them in kelvin (I guess). Kelvin is used mostly in scientific areas but most people use celsius or fahrenheit. It would be nice to have following options: Show the used unit Allow to toggle between Kelvin, Celsius and Fahrenheit
  7. Just out of curiosity: I guess you analyzed the answers automatically by searching for some kind of substring (I have not thought about that...). Would just "ISS" have been ok too?
  8. Congratulations stanz25! Make a photo of your 3D Kerbal.
  9. Did you changed the style of the main website (www.kerbalspaceprogram.com) recently? Looks very good. And I like CSS3 animations very much.
  10. Version numbering doesn't say anything about what and how many changes were made.
  11. Minor bug: If the craft is destroyed mid air due to reentry heat, the sound of burning air continues indefinitely.
  12. @Kiro: The game is tested by many people. It isn't released without testing, but all bugs will never be fixed in such a big software. That's not fair of you to the testers.
  13. Hmm... I don't play that much, but I think I had noticed this spinning effect too (even before v1) but only when starting the stock craft "Z-MAP Satellite Launch Kit". It (the final separated satellite cube) starts spinning slowly around it's own axis without any input (it isn't controllable anyway, since the QBE and OCTO2 don't have reaction wheels) and even after stopped the spinning completely (time acceleration / deceleration) it starts to spin faster and faster. And I'm not inside the atmosphere. But maybe it is not the same what UntamedZer0 talks about? I could make a video if you want.
  14. If it hasn't been mentioned before: The cursor doesn't seem to play nice with the GUI. For example, when pointing in the VAB over the top right buttons, the tip of the cursor doesn't seem to point exactly over the buttons. Move the cursor over the yellow load button's right side (next to the save button) and it will highlight the save button while still hovering above the load button. At least in 1920 x 1080 in the Windows build v1.0.0.830. From time to time I accidentally hit the save button and make an unwanted save. I know this are only some pixels and it is not important but it's still annoying. I would appreciate if you could fix it.
