  2. I like helaeon's second idea of having an indication of which part is overheating. I reckon that'd be sick. The third idea is good but I don't consider it a necessity, as this mod is really just there to re-purpose the stock temp gauges
  3. Holy cow, some people are so ungrateful and resistant to change. We all knew that the aerodynamics were going to change things completely, and sure, Squad missed a few things in the process but everyone makes mistakes and for such a big change, they've done a cracker job imo. We just need to get used to the new model and re-learn things! I think that it makes it a tad more interesting as well. As for the hotfixes, kudos to Squad for getting onto them so quickly! Just because it means you have to re-adjust your rocket/spaceplane design, doesn't mean it's a terrible thing. Thank you Squad, I still love you
  4. So I did a quick search and a few mods came up but the ones I want are outdated now. I'm looking for a mod that gives more realistic sounding rocket engines, very much like this: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/53800-RELEASED-A-R-P-mod-%28-Audio-Replacement-Project-%29. Unfortunately it's outdated which kinda sucks given that it looks very promising! Anyone have any ideas for this type of mod?

  6. Hey all, So I've recently decided to try out some new visual packs for KSP but I'm struggling to figure out whether I can only have 1 running at a time or whether I can have the best of both... I want to use Better Atmospheres V5 and the Astronomer's Visual Pack - Interstellar V2 but they both come with roughly the same folder structure, meaning obviously one would replace components of the other. Can anyone clarify whether I can use both in some way? Or is it either one or the other? And if I can only use one, which one you prefer? Thanks
  7. I'm getting bad lag as well on Windows 8.1 x64 with KSP x64 heavily modded. Deleted this mod and fixed everything right up. Unfortunate given how cool this mod seems!

  9. Well if you add 5 and 3 together you get 8 which is half of 16 which is the date in November that Half Life 2 was released on and if you divide 6 by 2 you get 3. It's a clear reference that Half Life 3 is coming out soon.
  10. Trial and error for me! I think about it in my head for a while, build it and then send her up! Usually ends up with me getting annoyed at myself for having to launch seven versions of the same basic structure because of certain elements that I've forgotten. I should really utilise a checklist type method but each station is unique so it can be a bit tricky to figure out what needs to go on and what doesn't

I managed to land a manned science mission on Moho but I had to send a refueler down to be able to get it back to Kerbin, that was an absolute nightmare given that my docking node was on the top of the ship. Without sounding too up-myself I managed to create quite a clever system to refuel, however it was only thanks to Mechjeb that I could fine tune my docking.
  13. I literally just received my GT70 yesterday! Upgrading from a Surface Pro, it's a blessing!

  15. Uses his jetpack! Nah, jumps into one of the other ships and thrusts with all his might to resist Moho's gravity!
