Well, building a new engine without having to worry about existing things will probably make fixing some issues WAY easier than fixing those things while maintaining the current game. I just hope they keep Linux-support for KSP2.

It would be an instabuy with Linux - but even for KSP2 i won't go back to Windows ^^

i wholeheartedly +1 this. KSP2 without Linux would be a disaster and disgrace!
