  1. EDIT: This is in answer to @Rabblerouser. Rabble rabble! [while sliding on face] I'm just that good! All you have to do is think of asking for help, and BAM! But seriously, I've never seen that particular behavior before, and I'm glad it resolved itself. If you have the problem again, please let us know. Give us all the versions of everything you're using so we can do some testing. Good luck!
  2. And I would like to take the time to thank everyone for participating here. Hopefully Graphotron can benefit from all this. If not, that's fine too.
  3. Good job pinging Drew, 'cuz I don't think I know how to fix this. Good luck!
  4. Fair enough, but actually that would be Unistrut's domain. That's who made the ribbons and established the "rules" for their use. I just built the generator and host the images.
  5. I'm so glad that you still love it. Thanks for saying so! Let us know when you get all those ribbons!
  6. Some very nice people (thanks!) pointed out to me that "someone" has uploaded unauthorized copies of HyperEdit and/or Graphotron to the Spacedock website without my permission. Please don't download from there, and report any such activity to me. As always, if anyone every has any issues with the Kerbaltek.com website, or downloading our mods, feel free to let me know. I promise to address them right away, as best I can. Thanks again to those who reported this.

  8. We actually did this once before, and decided to put it back. I'm not entirely sure why for either. I should read back over this thread to remember what happened. I am open to discussion about this, and I want to go with whatever the consensus is.
  9. Yea, that is a thing. I believe it's related to this issue: https://github.com/Ezriilc/HyperEdit/issues/62 At one point I did look at that code, but it wasn't clear to me what to do with it. I suppose there could be some connection between the 2 issues. Sorry I'm not much help.
  10. First, you are very welcome - it's my pleasure, and I'm glad you find it useful. Second, I promise to keep doing my best to update HyperEdit, with the great help from the community of course.
  11. Yea, that's a thing. I'm sorry, but nobody has been able to eliminate this issue yet. I didn't create HyperEdit, and I'm not good at C# or the KSP API, but I do keep track of issues in our GitHub repository - #41 & #44 are relevant. Feel free to add anything you think is important, and anyone is welcome to submit code if they can fix it. https://github.com/Ezriilc/HyperEdit/issues
  12. Good news, everyone! I'm pleased to announce that Kerbaltek.com now uses encryption (https://) for a secure connection, to keep your activity on our site private. This change will most likely break your ribbons image in your signature. Here's how to fix that on this forum: While you're signed in, click your username at the top-right of any forum page, then click "Account Settings". In the "Settings" view, click on "Signature" at the left. Get rid of any existing ribbons code. Remove the text "ribbons.png" or whatever it may say in place of your ribbons image. Basically, select the line and hit delete. Click the "Insert other media" button at the bottom-right, then click "Insert image from URL". Enter your ribbons image URL that you got from our Ribbon Generator - as follows: https://www.kerbaltek.com/users/[your_username]/ribbons.png OPTIONAL If you'd like to show others how to get their own ribbons, and some love for Kerbaltek , click on your ribbons image in the signature editor, then click the "Link" icon in the editor menu, and enter the URL to our Ribbon Generator: https://www.kerbaltek.com/ribbons Then click "Insert into post", and be sure to click "Save" As always, if you have any issues, please contact me here in the forum, or on our Contact page. Cheers!
  13. Good news everyone! I've received information that HyperEdit still works in KSP 1.7, so I've updated our version info here and in our repo on GitHub (for CKAN). As always, please let me know if you have any issues, and thanks! That is all.
  14. I realize this is an old thread, but I just had to come in here to say my thanks. Thanks @genericeventhandler! I've done a lot of work with .cfg files and other Config Node files like .craft in KSP, and had always wanted this but never found it. Now, a few years later while revisiting my projects, I find this - score! I wrote a config node parsing class in PHP back then that powers my "Craft Kitchen" web tools. If anyone is interested, I can put it on GitHub.
  15. I have not, but my son loves it, and I frequently see him play it. Whenever I find/hear of other spaceship building games, my mind cannot help but pine for KSP, so I always end up coming back to it. As for my C# knowledge, it wouldn't fill half a Mk1 Lander Can. Although I do manage things at Kerbaltek, my contributions to HyperEdit's code are few and far between. You see, HyperEdit was passed into my custody when The Creator could no longer care for it. They've since returned to the team, but don't have much time to spare, so I rely heavily on the kindness of the community to keep us afloat. Mostly I just make the coffee and try to keep things tidy.
  16. I'm sorry, but I don't know the answer. It sounds like you're doing things right (not missing something), but I haven't tested those functions in quite a while.
  17. There is no toggle for that. You just press the "Ship Lander" button, and that dialog should appear. Here's a weird thing: Do you have more than one monitor? It may be popping up off-screen. To reset window placement, shutdown KSP, find the file at: "./GameData/Kerbaltek/HyperEdit/windowpos.cfg", delete it, then restart KSP. I hope this helps!
  18. @Syrius: No, I don't recall anyone reporting that particular problem. I can only suggest that it could be a result of some other mods you're using. Beyond that, I recommend that you try a fresh install with only HyperEdit installed to see if it's something else. Sorry I'm not of much help.
  19. So I woke up this morning to news about the KSP update to 1.6.0 "To Vee or not to Vee." I'll be doing some testing to see if HyperEdit is up to snuff, and report back here.
  20. @Cataclism, That's a fun video, and I quite like your base setup. I can see how HyperEdit is useful in that situation. Thanks for sharing! I wonder if you knew that HyperEdit also has the "Orbit Editor" function to put your vessel into orbit around any body in the game. And that is the recommended method of landing on a body other than the one you're on. First you put the vessel in orbit with "Orbit Editor", then use the "Ship Lander" to put down on the surface. When you do it that way, you won't see the warning about landing on another body. The "Orbit Editor" even has a "Rendezvous" option to put you near any other vessel already in orbit. I'm glad to see you having fun with KSP and HyperEdit. Your enthusiasm keeps the community alive! Rock on!
  21. You are most welcome! It is appreciation like yours that motivates me, and I assume others that help me, to do so - that, and the fact that I use it quite a bit myself. I am constantly reminded of how great this community is. As always, @Cataclism, please feel free to contact us with any issues you may have. I'm happy to hear from you.
  22. No, I'm sorry. There is no comprehensive manual for HyperEdit, but much of it is common sense - except the complex orbit settings that I suspect you need. There is a help view and many things have pop-up info to help you. I don't know what you mean by "vortexed" as vortex is not a verb as far as I know. Also, HyperEdit will never stick you on the sun's surface unless you tell it specifically to do just that. However, if you have other mods installed, then all manner of crazy can manifest. As for repositioning a satellite in orbit, I'm pretty sure there is a way to do it with HyperEdit's Complex Orbit Editor, but I honestly don't know how to go about it. I'm sure that someone here knows, and hopefully will jump in here to help you.
  23. I suspect there may be some arbitrary serialization of the items showing in the Tracking Station. Could it be the vessel's "pid" or "persistentId"?
