  1. Yesterday I played Universe Sandbox and I turned the sun into a black hole as it had a mass like the sun, nothing changed, but when I started playing with the mass of a black hole, the whole solar system started to crumble, then when I went to sleep I dreamed that our the solar system a black hole flew in from deep space and that black hole wants to suck us in

  2. What do you think about compulsory vaccinations for COVID, or are they just not an increase in the shadow economy? I remember with my dad (who died in 2002) we watched the material that Skatebroding was banned in Norway, my dad noticed that you can earn money from such a ban

Because my dad told me that as he was a printer by profession, during the communes in Poland, he did not make bad money by printing "not entirely legal books" for Solidarity ;-)

It's was mainly such author like Lermontov,  Sacharov., Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, and off course Big bad boy George Orwell

It was so called "Samizdat "

That he was earning a second salary thanks to nice American gentlemen from the CIA: D

When we watched a program on Eurosport about the development of skateboarding in Norway, that in the 1980s it was a forbidden sport because their moms decided that it was a sport too heavenly for "good children", dad said that he was printing forbidden books under communism, because if the loveing government would forbid it something it's always the best money to get paid for it.

That if he had been a Norwegian and not a Pole in the 1980s, he would have dealt with banned skateboards, since the idiots from the government themselves create an outlet for him, only a retard would not take advantage of it.

And here arises my question: how the government tells us to vaccinate with the 101st dose, who normal will not get a fake certificate of vaccination for COVID-19

  4. A few days ago it was women's day, my mother was also very interested in space, she told how she watched the landing of a man on the moon by Neil Armstrong, Poland seems to be one of the few countries from the former Eastern Bloc, the rest were probably only Romania, Hungary and perhaps Czechoslovakia, and Yuguslaw (although they do not care because they did not belong to Comecon or the Warsaw Pact) who decided to broadcast Apollo 11 directly, which liquided off Brezhnev because he could not just forbid us without contradicting his own narrative of the Soviet Union that Comecon is a union of independent and free socialistic states and not puppet states and satellites (but non-space ones : ) as it was IRL

I have always wondered about conspiracy theories related to the beginning of human space exploration, but not those related to the alleged fake by NASA and Stanley Kubrick of the moon landings ;-)
But there are indications that Yuri Gagarin was not the first man in space, that the first man in space was a Russian, but it was not Gagarin, that perhaps it was even a Russian woman who died a painful and martyr's death (martyrdom for science), that she burned alive at re-entering the atmosphere :-(

My mother had a profession, he was an electrician measuring technician, my late mother worked in a state-owned company that made windings for electric motors, for electric locomotives in the Panstowa PafaWag company :-) My mother was very smart, she also worked as an electrician in a steel plant, although at the very end of her In career in free and democratic Poland, she worked as a senior supply specialist in a company that made chainsaws under the license of the Swedish company Husqvarna and a specialist in contacts with capitalist countries, but she never joined the Polish United Workers 'Party, i.e. the Polish United Workers' Party (Communist Party), even though she had such offers, once with my brother we told her that it would be okay to sign up, maybe we would get a bigger apartment, but in my mother's opinion joining the communists for a bigger apartment would be political prostitution, that just like the Germans explain that they had to join the NSDAP to make a career :-)

I read Tom Wolfe's book The Right Stuff and thought it was one of the best books I had ever read.  When I heard that they were going to film it I had reservations,  I didn't think it could possibly be filmed.  When I saw the film I was pleasantly surprised.  Despite all the myth-making, flaky bits and telescoping of facts I thought they had done a great job. I tried to watch the recent Right Stuff mini series but gave up on the second episode.  The makers were obviously just going for fantasy and it was all turning into just another soap opera.

This is something that annoys me.  I feel that the true story of the American space programme has all the drama and human interest that anyone can want.  It does not need any fictionalising or fantasizing,  It can stand perfectly well on its own. I felt the same after watchin First Man. Didn't care for that either. But then, I am just a Grumpy Old Man!

First Man was awesome and Mr Armstrong said he is pride of being nerd :-)

Not an official answer, but a likely stab in the dark: epilepsy, ever, is likely a disqualifying condition.  Does not matter whether you have not had an event in a while, the owners of multi-million dollar air/spacecraft that might crash into a school of children just are not going to risk it.

Also - having been through many, many military-level physicals... there's a lot of bureaucratic stuff based on old understandings / preconceptions that make blanket rulings about classes of conditions.  I know that well into the 2000's, having ADHD that you have been receiving medical treatment for is largely disqualifying.  Although, if you had had it as a child, then gotten off the meds for several years and could prove adequate performance in school, exceptions were made.  Aspergers -  I don't know about, nor do I know whether Autism was disqualifying... although like everything, was probably something that mild cases could apply for a waiver for.  Again, anyone who required some form of treatment or accommodation?  Not so much.

All of that said - the military is a hugely competitive sphere, and where you have seven candidates for three super sexy technical jobs and six of them are perfect physical specimens,  the seventh person showing up with prior medical issues is an easy person to cross off the list.

    Fair?  No.

Reasonable and probably smart to do?  Sadly yes.

Now - in the civilian sphere, there are a lot more opportunities - and the easiest of which is to start your own spaceship company.  When you are rich, and the boss... there's not much you can't do.  It's when you hope to have someone else pay for stuff, and also pay you that things get competitive

My buddie said if it comes to  flight medicine never told them whole true because doctos would allways try to spoil you plesure, that it was once cause of boy who was need to be raised in sterile environment, boy surived it thanks to bone transfer, but died eventually and doctor not allowed to follow his last whish whisch was glass of Coca-Cola even if it was mathematical certainty that  he will died anyway :-(

Here’s the FAA’s take on seizures and epilepsy.

I was not aware of such a thing as Rolandic epilepsy.  I, like many others, had always assumed epilepsy is automatically disqualifying. Interesting.

I would suggest a “off the record” consultation with someone familiar with aviation medicals in your country.

    LOL :D

What do you think about this guy he is must be aSpie :-)

I think most of skateboarders must  have Autism/ADHD or something similar :D

Having Asperger's myself, I say why wouldn't / couldn't you become a pilot? We have our issues, we also have our strengths NTs don't have.

That said, we're living in a NT world, have to learn their language, their culture, their ways to communicate, to interact, to live. It's not our world, we have to adapt. Which we can do.

Don't worry too much, learn how they do, imitate, adapt. And be yourself.

Reach for the stars, if you want to, it's not that they any more far away for Aspies than for NTs :)

that sad that we are treated like trash :-(

  8. Originally I was misdiagnosed with ADHD, only later it was changed to Asperger, I also had epilepsy for some time, probably caused by concussion while playing with my cousin, I fell headlong straight on my head, then there were convulsions, although over the years, as I became a teenager in in the late 90s, everything healed spontaneously :-)
One doctor said that it was a lot of noise, that maybe it was Rolandic epilepsy which is not as dangerous as it may seem and is often associated with the diagnosis of Asperger Syndrome or ADHD, at least since 1998 my EEG is 2.5 hz alfa and I don't take any brain medications ;-)

As a teenager, I went to a special summer camp for children with ADHD or Asperger, I met a new friend there who had coexisting ADHD and Asperger, but also membership in Polish Mensa because he had 150 IQ

We had a common passion for Cosmonautics and Aviation, our favorite films were "The Right Stuff" and "Apollo 13", he came to this camp there because he beat the bully who tormented him, he had a criminal case before our Polish family court, but he said that Mrs. bold as a case file that a nerd like him could beat another kid who is almost as big as an adult, the judge decided that it was a self-defense and therefore legally protected, and ordered his school to restore him as a student, but also ordered him that ma should refrain from other fights and be under the care of a psychiatrist until the age of 18.

He told me that he was going to get a pilot's license when he was an adult (it was in 2003) I said that I would also like to be a pilot, but I think the Polish Civil Aviation Office would not even give me 2nd class medical examinations, because I even had epilepsy completely healed, but it probably doesn't matter to them.

My friend then said that he was going to get a pilot's license, that I can, too, because when it was Rolandic epilepsy and I would not have any seizures for 10 years, he would not even report it in my place, said that he would go to a medical examination , he will say about celiacs and allergies but he will not say ADHD or his autism that ULC can love himself, the Wrieght brothers most likely had autism and Wernher von Braun became a "good German" and then a "good American" then nothing bad will happen if he is somewhere a pilot with Asperger ;-)

  9. What do you think about the American movie about the origins of NASA called "The Right Stuff" from 1983?

have Asperger's Syndrome, although when I was a very young child, but then in the 1980s (I was born in 1986) no one in Poland or even America, no one had heard of neurodevelopmental disorders, I was originally diagnosed with ADHD, only later changed to Aspergers.

My physics teacher said that under communism you could get the label of a subversive if someone was too interested in "imperialist cosmonautic technology", i.e. the American one :-)

Poland, Hungary and Romania were the only countries of the former Eastern bloc that decided to broadcast the landing of Neil Armstrong on the moon, which liquided off the USSR, although in general my mother's generation enjoyed the successes of the Soviets in space, although we did not like the USSR as such, for example Gagarin Flight was very covered in Poland because  made a mockery out America, because the Americans had ridiculed the Slavs earlier, so it was nice when the Slav of Yuri Gagarin overtook Mr. Shepard in who would be the first man in space, and the American rockets of that period had too little power to send these little capsules of the Mercury program into orbit. My mother said that the Russians sent a woman Tereshkova into orbit, and the Americans were too big sexists to let their woman fly Apollo, my mother died in 2017, I think that she would like her series "For all mankind" because there is an alternative, more women-friendly reality I'm a guy BTW

There are conspiracy theories that the first man in space was a Russian woman, but she died trying to re-enter the atmosphere after the flight ended :-(

Another of my favorite films was the completely fictional "Space Camp" broadcast by TVP on the Polish national station in the Saturday Z Disney block, in the early 90s, my uncle joked that he would be betting that it would be a Soviet "could" accidentally send a school trip to oribita, since one Russian, unfortunately with a Polish surname, Wiesław Kudryński, a Polish-Russian allowed his son to pilot Airbus, and boy crashed it no survivors  :-(

And here clip from the SpaceCamp

    Off course Mr Gargamel ;)

It is sad to think what humanity would be capable of, if only the Americans and the Russians did not spend money on the war in Vietnam and the Afghan Wars, but on their space programs !:(
