  1. I love everything related to Space that why i bought KSP all that years ago :D

Recently i watched fragment of new Episode of Vintage Space by Amy Shira Teitel, it was about new Apple TV alternative history where Soviets/Russian landed on Mun before American, my computer went into BSOD state when she announced that it would be spoilers so o decided that it's sign from heaven to watch series first :D

From time perspective i think it maybe it would be good if Soviets, not American landed there first, you see I see American(and Brits too :D ) as very hard working smart people, but they do their best only if someone hurt their pride, so if Russian landed first maybe President Nixon would not call off Apollo 18,19 and 20, but instead go "All in" and to show that NASA is better than Soviet Space Program and chose to land people on Mars

Before this century (XX century) will end we will send people to Mars, because it even harder than Moon .

As for original question when i watch old NASA videos from 60's mission control look so modern all those flat screen in 60's and mission controller consoles have actual GUI (Graphical User Interface) wile even in late  90's in Polish schools we had computers run under MS-DOS and command line :D

  2. See this my MK4 mission Moho-Kerbstone 4, with Bob the Engineer as Kerbonaut-Pilot :-)

He almost blow hatch ;-) Jeb is furious because he was passed in crew assignment again, but he not know that i have special mssion for him in mind ;-)

PS, What do you think about new "For all mankind" alternative history show about space race where Soviets landed on Mun before American, i learned about it from  space historian Amy Shira Teitel  Youtube channel Vintage Space that i subscribe, she not published anything for long time and i loved her vlogs/podcasts.

Mine computer went into BSOD when Amy  warned that might be spoiler for, me it was a bit like sign from GOD!? ;-)
Not watch it until you watch the tv series itself :D
So i subscribed for free trial period now 'm finished 3rd episode "HE built Saturn V" :-)

The seirs and Amy rekindled my love for KSP, btw when KSP 2.0 will be realised

  4. Bob Kerman the first Kerbal who crossed border of space (at lest in this time line; -) )

Jeb is furious that he not got this flight assignment but he got previous first kerballed flight that reach 50 000 meters, now it was second flight that Bob reach peak altitude of 82 000 meters, but KASA (Kerbal Space Agency) thought Bob with his scientific background fit better mission profile due loot of sciency  stuff, that included two Mystery Goo™ unit but Jeb still think he would better drove rocket than than Bob the Nerd :D

I'm pretty sure it's not to keep some guy from parking outside your house and downloading illegal stuff.

It's to keep you from saying "Hey my Wifi's not secured it was probably some guy parked outside my house who downloaded all that illegal stuff."

Essentially it's easier to prosecute someone if they don't have an alibi.

What do you means? Not protecting WIFI is plain stupid IMHO but it's should be not State business!

  6. What do you think about it, the authorities of my country (Poland) want to punish people for not securing the password of the WIFI network?

Such a ban already exists in our larger and more prosperous neighbor, i.e. Germany, where there is a penalty of up to 100 euros in fine for lack of password protection for the WIFI network.

Now Poland wants to introduce a similar solution, apparently similar law is also in France and Great Britain.

Apparently, the argument for this is that unauthorized persons can connect to someone's private WIFI network, which can already be considered a criminal offense.

Apparently, the point is that such leeches can use someone's private WiFi to download copyrighted material, as well as by perverts hurting children and / or terrorists.

In my opinion, governments around the world are using marketing tricks like "Think of poor children" or scary alleged "terrorists"

They want to do as if someone had committed a computer crime with the help of someone unsecured WIFI, the owner could be punished "for complicity in crime through negligence" :-)

I secure my WIFI, but I think that governments around the world are getting too much into the private affairs of their citizens, they are playing micro-management too much, and that liquides people off!

How it happened that astronaut Eugene "Gene" Cernan had problems during the Gemini 9A mission during his spacewalk, after all, the first American man who made the spacewalk (the first was the Soviet cosmonaut Alexei Leonov :-)), Edward White did not have such problems.

It is true that the above-mentioned Soviet cosmonaut Leonov almost did not die when his over-inflated space suit could not fit into the airlock of his space capsule Woschod 2, which was very similar to Cernan's subsequent spacewalk in Gemini.

And as for Gen Cernan himself, not many people know that he was an American, but an American of Slovak origin, his father was a Slovak Štefan Čerňan born in 1903 in the village of Vysoká nad Kysucou in Slovakia who emigrated to the United States, as a Pole nice to hear about this Slavic accent in the American space program ;-)

I read about it in Polish Wikipedia in a biographical article about him, I decided to read more about it in English-language Wikipedia, because it is the largest Wikipedia and the most substantive, if we can talk about substantiveness in the case of Wikipedia :-)
But I saw a funny coincidence, in Czech-language Wikipedia there is no entry about Gen Cernan at all and there is Slovakia.

I don't know either Czech or Slovak, but as a Pole, I can read texts in these languages because they are linguistically very similar to my native Polish :-) It's a bit like Spanish and Portuguese, I don't know any of these.

But it's funny that there is no entry about Gene Cernan in Czech Wikipedia :-)

I think both countries are still experiencing divorce after Czechoslovakia :-)

  8. Is Polish Joke i translated it to English fo you :-)

Humor from under the blackboard, Teacher ask student
T - Jas(Johnny), if your mother is 34 years older than your sister and you are 5 years younger than your sister and are now 10 years old, how old is your mother?
S - Madam! Gentleman never ask a woman for her age! :D

Nice? Yep, it would be, but would it be right?

Veterans players (especally people who have free DLCs) are the one who got the most playtime at the lowest price, having someone who paid the game 15$ or less not to pay the sequel wouldn't be right for people who paid the game 40$ 6 month before the announcement of the sequel.

So maybe it should be some discount for all who previously bought KSP?

    Easy? Why?

Please describe how rewriting the code from scratch can be achieved at zero cost, which is what you are suggesting (by claiming that Private Division should not charge for it)?

Just joking and certainly buy it if i  had enough money, and my computer run it but some discounts for veteran players would be nice  ;-)

And multiplayer would be cool, some could be astronauts and some could be mission control ;-)

  11. They could sell the copyright to make animation movie or cartoon based on KSP, I spend a lot of time in old days playing KSP, and those game thought me more about aerodynamics and aerospace engineering than more of the time I spend in physics classes in High School, here in Poland, but I had great teacher through.

I think an animated movie based on KSP could greatly increase kids and adults too, interest in science, even trough KSP doing great on this field already. I even had a perfect matching title for such movie "THE WRONG STUFF" :D

I was going to send you the following craft I made in a hurry, but you got it done so, good job. Take a look at it though, grab some ideas for the future :)

You plane certainly looks more smother and more elegant than mine :D , could you share you plane craft file with me?

Also, when you’re surface-attaching parts and trying to get the straight (like you were with the tail fin) use angle snap (the icon at the bottom left, next to symmetry, you can click it to change from a circle to a hexagon. Good for aligning things at the perfect angle

    Angle snap?

It's been my experience that it's best directly in line with the CoM, or slightly below.

Having it above the CoM can work, but generally on larger craft with a ton of control authority.

I need to have plane with 3 engines, because one contract testing J-404 "Panther" above 13 000 meters with speed about 450 m/s if i remember correctly.

So i need two J -404 Panther on each side of fuselage and one main that i would use to climb to those 13000 meters.

But how to do it that is a question? :(

  14. 2 hours ago, Geonovast said:

Two main problems I'm seeing is that your CoT is above your CoM, which will push the nose to the ground, and your rear landing gear is way too far back.  You want it just barely behind the CoM.

I also would not recommend angling the rear wheels like that.  Straighten the rear gear out and offset them a bit out so they look like they're attached to the wings.  Also disable the steering on the rear gear.

That's a lot of thrust for that little thing.  Just use the wheezy for takeoff.  Even after you get it in the air, the panthers are going to be a problem.

so how perfect CoT and CoM equilibrium should look like?

Designing rockets are so much easier :(

The weather station is a deployed science part. You have to deploy it on the surface of a planet that has an atmosphere. Along with a control station and power units (deployed science solar panel or deployed science RTG). They have to be deployed by Kerbals. But can be left running to collect stand transmit science back to Kerbin over time.

OK but where is stored in rocket if i can ask? :)
