  1. I finished editing the latest cinematic video of my RP-1 playthrough, pretty proud of it. Not sure if videos are ideal here? (I'm not as active here as I used to be. If its just pictures, let me know)
  2. Bigger album: here. It's based on the UR-900 Soviet rocket design (thus the 4.15m tank clustering) but with an American upper stage.
  3. Did some work on super-heavy lift vehicles in RSSRO.
  4. I don't really post here often anymore, but a few days ago I experimented with some camera and editing techniques for my series. (there is sound) gyfcat link, not sure if I can embed it directly?
  5. Wow, that's just beautiful. Amazing Christmas gift, than you Nertea.
  6. My new series, *Terminal Velocity* takes place in cinematic-style 10 minute videos for about 1 year of RP1 time.
  7. Hey all. I haven't been around the forum for awhile, but per request I've started documenting my new RSS/RO/RP-1 career. The episodes should cover 1-2 years of launches, and be around 7 minutes long each. (now around half a year, 15 minutes long) Like the series? Support computer upgrades for future episodes! Latest episode: 25. First three:
  8. Neat library! Blast from the past suddenly getting a notification about an 8 year old story, damn.
  9. So I decided to see how well KSPI would peform in the enviroment of RSS/RO, warp drive results were a little... strange. Each time I arrived at a planet, I would get a near perfect orbit, instead of the expected large velocity difference from warping in-between planets. I went Earth>Pluto>Neptune>Mercury, all good orbits Is it due to the sheer size of RSS confusing things, or am I mis-remembering how the drive works? EDIT: Nevermind, was told about auto-circularize, that wasn't a thing before. Interesting.
  10. I like building large rockets. I took it to its natural conclusion...
  11. Well, I haven't been playing KSP much recently, so I made a blueprint instead. (RSS/RO/RP1)
  12. I'm surprised this mod hasn't received more attention - it's awesome! Thank you.
  13. KSP version: 1.8 Windows 64 bit What happens: Context menu "steals" info from other parts Mods / Addons: all stock Steps to replicate 1) Wiggle your mouse around the engine menu (or any menu with context details) 2) Right click part, view result. Result: Context menu is filled with a bunch from other parts Fixes/workarounds: Exit vab and re-enter Imgur album: https://imgur.com/a/RSe4ypY
  14. It also depends on aerodynamics as well as TWR - a skinny lander can punch through the atmosphere and accelerate out quickly better than a fat rocket can. See here as well.
