  1. Ok, I dont know what I have done wrong, I installed according to post no. 200, also tried the trick fom post no. 206, and I still do not get the KCM Icon in flight/launch mode.
  2. it uses sepratrons for fuel so unless you use unlimited fuel cheat you can only get so high, a kilometer or so. Also I think people are taking this way too seriously as this was intened to be a derpy little fun thing!
  3. there is an image of the craft on the other thread but i will add the "Kite" here as well, and I never said infiniglide was impossible, I merely stated that I think it is impossible with this purticular craft.
  4. Actualy if you bother to go to the challenge post, and read the rules of the challenge there, you would realize how irrelivant your statment is, yes I know about inifiniglide but if you follow the rules of the challenge post, infiniglide is impossible, and I dare you to prove me wrong.
  5. Its a real pity that my GPU is a Dorito, I could prolly get real big spacestations into space, if I didnt have an abbacus for a processor.
  6. this is a fairly basic craft and I have recently added the craft file to download, I see that I need to add to the "Rules" to prevent "Exploitation of infini-glide" bug but it may not be possible to stop them all.
  7. This is the craft file for my listed challenge. You can take the challenge here -> http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/24982-How-Far-Can-You-Go http://www./download.php?aafd72066axt6ku
  8. So i saw this challenge page, and as I have had trouble with getting a plane to glide nicely in KSP, I decided to challenge myself, and I found this design works realy well, it can even land all by itself! Find the craft file here http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/24986-Glider-for-the-How-Far-Can-You-Go-Challenge?p=305738#post305738 So my challenge to you is: How far can you glide? Here are some guidelines to consider. Allow the craft to free fall after launch, no tampering with the controls, just let it go where it will. Dont use Mech-Jeb, or any other game altering mod(not been tested with Ferram Aerospace Research) Allow the craft to land on its own, crashes are exceptable, utilizes QBE probe. Record you results from f3 panel below to see who can get the farthest!(Looking for the Total Distance Traveled.) No modification of glider, if you can exploit the infini-glide bug then there realy is no point of this challenge for you is there? Use only the craft file provided, see above, all other entries will be disqualified, include a screenie of craft along with your f3 panel. Happy Gliding!
  9. I actually learned quite alot about KSP from using Mech-jeb, and anilyzing over and over agin each and every launch. Now I use it for SHLs because my PC cant handle anything over 130+ parts with out it, the small stuff I try to pilot my self, also I use Mech-Jeb to check the stability of my SP designs.
  10. trydyingtolive has a video on the youtubes about this and explains how to do it, easy to follow.
  11. and that is why i was requesting a tutorial. but everything you explained is what i had guessed at.
  12. the co-ordinates part is what i wnat to know more about actually I knew about the reticles, both yellow(self-explanitory) and purple(not so intuitive) long before Ksp came out I know avery little about the nav-ball, but want to know more. I guess i cant really explain what i want, but anything will help at this point.
  13. i meant throttle guage, not fuel gage. sorry
  14. Has anyone thought of doing a tutorial on the NAV-ball and "How-To" read the fuel guadge, I've gotten most of it figured out myself for the most part and thought of doing a tutorial myself, but my PC is not up to the task, litteraly, it runs KSP mostly fine, but if I add the stress of a video capture software on top, my PC will vomit its OS, or it tries to. I know that I enjoy the informative tutorial video every now and then (especially when things go horribly wrong) and I believe this is needed to understand some of the game mechanics, or I'm just way off the mark and guessing will just have to do.
