I send a probe out that finds kethane, so I land a miner there and sure enough it starts filling its tanks. A day later I come back with another vehicle and there is no kethane to be seen. This is extremely annoying. -
I love this mod, non of my rockets feel the same with out it. It's a bit Over Powered but thats not a bad thing in some cases. +1000000xtrillion.

How i used the map is get a detector satellite in orbit and Mechjeb circle the mun until it beeps then place an Autoland marker with mechjeb wherever your satellite is above. And send a miner lander there. Or set up a cart/RCS boosted vehicle that can drive along the surface with a detector and has all the mining capabilities.

So here is the story, I have the kethane mod installed so I sent up 2 rockets a satelite kethane scanner that runs on an ion engine, and a miner. The miner I landed successfully but the pilot is still stuck up there and I want to get him back. But since trying this Challenge every lunar lander I have made to try to rescue him has failed miserably. The miner could return to earth it has a chute and enough fuel, but I want it to stay there. The rockets I tend to make end up heavy and take 3 hours to turn from retro to pro-grade. And on landing I just end up running out of fuel and crashing to my dismay. Any tips or designs that you have found helped you with this task? The lander. The Miner. Satellite.

Is there a way to scan Automatically? I have a **** with mechjeb attached orbiting the mun at 8000m scanning but all I get is a tiny line to scan the entire mun would take days. Also say I do find kethane, how do I then interpret the map to know where it is so I can land there? This is stuff the page never detailed.
