  1. The standard 6DOF system will not work properly in 1.0 in both the VAB and SPH editors. This is rather dissapointing since the game offically supported the 6DOF mouse since .23. Having moved the camera with the mouse while in any editor, if you attempt to place a part the part will instantly appear behind the part list and be unselectable. parts placed before moving the camera with the 3D mouse will stil be selectable. This is a crippling bug. While it's great that KSP now also supports TrackIR, not being able to use the 3D mouse in the editor makes the whole process of building craft unenjoyable and (personally) unplayable. This bug has been confirmed since .90. It's too bad it wasn't fixed for the offical 1.0 release. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/103227-3D-Mouse-%283Dconnexion%29-unusable-in-contruction-%2832-and-64-bit%29-in-90 http://bugs.kerbalspaceprogram.com/issues/3838
  2. In regards to the Latitude/Longitude Problem with Ground stations for Remote tech 2: Using VOID, MechJeb or Hyper Edit to obtain the coordinates doesn't work as they display the wrong values for Remotetech. However I have determined that SCANsat DOES display the Remote Tech compatible coordinates. That means one can now very easily add new ground stations anywhere on Kerbin without any weird and complicated conversion equations. I have made all rocket launch pads ground stations. you can paste this in your RT cfg file: GroundStations { STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc488 Name = Mission Control Latitude = -0.131331503391266 Longitude = -74.594841003418 Height = 75 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 7.5E+07 } } } STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc501 Name = Tracking Station 2 Latitude = 78.608117 Longitude = 147.491623 Height = 2817.58 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 7.5E+07 } } } STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc502 Name = Tracking Station 3 Latitude = 20.45392 Longitude = -78.093832 Height = 3684.54 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 7.5E+07 } } } STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc503 Name = Tracking Station 4 Latitude = 20.986161 Longitude = -117.304872 Height = 4204.48 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 7.5E+07 } } } STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc504 Name = Tracking Station 5 Latitude = 14.733632 Longitude = -127.017657 Height = 2999.19 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 7.5E+07 } } } STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc505 Name = Tracking Station 6 Latitude = 16.043645 Longitude = -156.864196 Height = 4704.55 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 7.5E+07 } } } STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc506 Name = Tracking Station 7 Latitude = 3.329209 Longitude = -37.145679 Height = 2230.51 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 7.5E+07 } } } STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc507 Name = KKVLA Latitude = 10.3559 Longitude = 227.3936 Height = 430 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 2.55E+08 } } } STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc508 Name = Arakebo Latitude = 8.2517 Longitude = 179.4219 Height = 430 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 2.55E+08 } } } STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc509 Name = Kosmodrome Latitude = 0.138 Longitude = 217.1527 Height = 430 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 7.5E+07 } } } STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc510 Name = Central lakes Latitude = -15.3 Longitude = 91.3 Height = 50 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 7.5E+07 } } } STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc511 Name = Great Basin Latitude = -6.4 Longitude = -178.7 Height = 1500 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 7.5E+07 } } } STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc512 Name = Kraken's Belly Latitude = 20.7 Longitude = -146.4 Height = 500 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 7.5E+07 } } } STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc513 Name = Great Ez Kape Latitude = 21 Longitude = 145.8 Height = 150 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 7.5E+07 } } } STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc514 Name = Sea's End Latitude = -34.1 Longitude = 79.8 Height = 10 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 7.5E+07 } } } STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc515 Name = Toofar Kape Latitude = -45.5 Longitude = 78.9 Height = 10 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 7.5E+07 } } } STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc516 Name = Sanctuary Mouth Latitude = 23.7 Longitude = -39.9 Height = 20 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 7.5E+07 } } } STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc516 Name = Sanctuary Mouth Latitude = 23.7 Longitude = -39.9 Height = 20 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 7.5E+07 } } } STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc517 Name = Hanbert Kape Latitude = -22.6 Longitude = -140.3 Height = 10 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 7.5E+07 } } } STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc517 Name = Dull Spot Latitude = 63.9 Longitude = -172.4 Height = 500 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 7.5E+07 } } } STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc518 Name = Ocean Odyssee Platform Latitude = 16.3 Longitude = 174.4 Height = 50 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 7.5E+07 } } } }
  3. it would be awesome if you could get it showing trajectories outside of the map view. like this:
  4. I have installed the All in 1 pack, and while the lauch sites appear in the map view and list menu. there are no buildings when I launch from these locations. they are empty. my launch clamps attach directly to the ground. I am running KSP windows 32bit. fixed it. I had Kerbal Konstruct installed twice.
  5. I'm running NEAR with Kerbal joint reinforcement and have some serious problems. Whenever I try to re-enter kerbin with the stock Spaceplane (Learstar) my ship will glide in pretty well down to around 12 and 20km. At that point the ship just violently starts wobbling and explodes tearing the rear part of the ship off. Doesn’t matter if I have SAS or Mechjeb or neither running. Every time it loses control and flys apart. The few times it doesn't explodes I still looses total control and the ship enters into a spin around every axis. I'm flying parallel to the surface with a pitch of 0°. Is this really normal? How can I prevent this? Or is the stock Learstar really so badly designed? I can get into orbit with 0 problems. I'm running KSP windows 32bit version.
  6. great work on these fixes. Though I have a suggestion, but I have a feeling it may be difficult or even impossible to try and fix without the right hardware. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/103227-3D-Mouse-%283Dconnexion%29-unusable-in-contruction-%2832-and-64-bit%29-in-90 Squad has said they know of the problem, but I have a feeling it might be a while before they get around to fixing it because so few people have such a mouse. Building a craft without itis impossible and too frustrating for me now.
  7. That's good to hear. Though will that mean I'll have to wait until 0.91 to be able to use the mouse again or is there a hotfix planned to fix other .90 problems?
  8. I use a 3Dconnexion Space Navigator mouse with KSP. It was also officially supported with the start of KSP .23 The problem I have though is in the contruction buildings. At first the camera is centered to the middle of the VAB (which is normal). If I build my rocket without touching the 3D mouse everything is fine. Though as soon as I used the 3D mouse to rotate or move the camera I am unable to place any parts anymore. When I select a part from the part list it instantly plops into the VAB an I am unable to select it or move it. Thus making it impossible to build anything. I can only place parts for as long as I don't touch the 3D mouse. Once I do I can't place any parts at all anymore, even if the recenter the camera using the noramal mouse controls. After that I have to either reload the ship I'm building or leave the VAB. But I can still not select any parts that where placed into the VAB while I was using the 3D mouse. I can however still select free floating parts that had been placed into the VAB from before I used the 3D mouse. All these parts are just free floating. They are not connected to any spacecraft. They also vanish if I reload the ship or exit the VAB (which is normal). I can still select parts that are part of my rocket. As long as I built the rocket without touching the 3D mouse. This is 100% repeatable on both 32 and 64bit windows version of KSP.
  9. Hi, awesome mod. I have a quesion though. I have a contract that wants a probe in a certain orbit. The craft should have number of sensors. I have a part that contains many sensors including the ones the contract wants. But the contract doesn't see that as being checked. Is it possible for Fine Print to recognize the modules rather that the parts? That way it would work with any part that contains the needed module.
  10. is there a way to only fill up some resources instead of all of them? sometimes I may have angled my craft wrong so it gets no sunlight. I don't wont te refill the fuel, just give it a bit of power so I can turn it into the sun again.
  11. I decided to add the effects to the launch clamps myself. Isn't very hard. http://i.imgur.com/ccw2rS9.png download here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/rczgthu31643a5i/stock_extended.cfg place in GameData\Klockheed_Martian_CoolRockets\ edit: I've added FASA umbilical tower support: http://i.imgur.com/qtkggy9.png https://www.dropbox.com/s/krjv062d662m44i/stock_extended_v2.cfg
  12. I have a weird issue. The camera seems to be far off centre. When I select a camera it will show me a viewpoint very far behind the camera body. Like 20m off centre. Is this issue known? Strangely though, using Raster Prop Manager the internal displays show the correct camera positions, albeit slightly zoomed in.
  13. I have a suggestion. would it be possible to add the cyro effects to the Launch clamps? perhaps also the ones from FASA? since some of the clamps would act the fuel supply while filling, these umbilicals would also be covered in ice. you can see the effect in this video:
  14. yeah, that was the reason. worked after I rebuilt the rocket. had to use hyper edit to save my kerbal though.
  15. I have installed the newest version, however I don't have and cyro effects on the enginesm just the tanks. I also have Hotrockets installed, could this be the reason? is there a way to get both working? So it seems to work now, but only if i toggle it one while on the launch pad. shouldn't the effect be on by default? also the right click toggle lables don't show any names. only "toggle" so I'm not sure what's going on here.
  16. I seem to be having a strange problem with RC. the camera will constantly stop following the craft (or at least lag behind and move slower than the craft is) and I will be unable to center the camera on the craft I'm flying. similar to when the centre of mass bug would randomly shift. This shift would keep occouring every few seconds. I'm 100% sure its RC because I removed all other mods and the bug still happend. I removed RC and then it all works. I have already updated to the newest version of both KSP and RC. Is this issue known? I am running KSP 64 on windows 7 64 edit: looking into this further, it most certainly is a center of mass issue. I can spin the craft around an imaginary CoM and exert massive gforces. what#s going on?
  17. How do I rename craft I have lost contact to? It won't let me rename them if they have no connection, not from the focused craft or the map screen. I would like to be able to mark ships I can no longer contact as debris so the don't show up anymore. I don't see the reason for not being able to do this.
  18. is there a chance to get a copy of the .22 compatible version?
