Indeed, the forum downtime was quite limited (despite some troubles during the update process). The only planned long-term downtime was when we switched from vBulletin to IPS late last year. Naturaly, longer downtimes will be announced longer in advance. The indexing is almost complete now, so that officially completes the update

The forums are fully usable, but some processes are still being completed in the background

I've decided to reschedule the forum update to tomorrow morning EU time. Expect a little downtime, but nothing critical.

If all goes well this update shouldn't take more than an hour. I'm still undecided exactly when this week it'll be though. Maybe not, but we won't go back

Hi Hooloovoo, Have you made sure your hosts file does not have any custom settings for KSP? When this problem occurs it sometimes helps to force a hard refresh when you see the server migration page (you can do this by pressing control+f5). If all that doesn't help, please send an email to [email protected]

I wanted to leave a comment regarding this. Moderators are community members like the rest of you. They're allowed to share their opinions like anyone else here is. Their role is only to step in when people violate our community rules, which does not have anything to do with what they believe in.
