  1. I don't understand what the point of this universe replacer is, seeing as it only replaces textures on map / high altitude the ground mass doesn't physically change. maybe this is something the dev's of mod can work on? cheers, Ryan.
  2. hello, has anyone created textures to replace every planet in ksp universe ( kerbin, jool, mun, e.t.c ) with the textures of planets from our solar system. ( earth, moon, mars, saturn, uranus, e.t.c ) Cheers, Ryan.
  3. Hello, this texture pack that you have done, is it of our actual solar system as in Earth, Moon, Mars, Saturn, e.t.c or is it just a HD remake of the original KSP universe?? Cheers, Ryan.
  4. i would just like to state that in the original ( discussion posted ) the mech jeb auto pilot get's refereed to a lot. I personally think that KSP dev's should have added an auto-pilot into the game from the very beginning. because as KSP moves towards more and more realistic features. Imagine in real time now, if each and every one of us where rocket builders, and astronauts. Not one of us will leave the launch pad under manual control. Every vessel left our earth has been under the command of an auto-pilot, yes later in the flight that may take over manual control but that is for a minimal amount of time, because a computer error is 99% less likely than a human error. also, I agree completely with original posting, every mod that has been created ( that I use ) is simply an addition to game play, making it more interesting, fun, experimental, & so much more. so for all of the people that say that mods are ' cheating ' , ' bad ' , ' boring ' , ' cheating ' , ' uninteresting ' & ' ruin game play '. I think that they are the boring, and do not realize the potential that the universe holds of only they ksp dev's could have added in 3/4 of the modding community it would make the game 200% better This ends my contribution to this conversation. Cheers, Ryan.
  5. could you upload your turret please ^__^ I would love you for ever Cheers, Ryan.
  6. hello, I am just wondering if anybody has created a texture for the entire ksp universe, that re-creates OUR actual solar system? Cheers, Ryan.
  7. do you know how to change the base code? or could you tell me where to go and what to change? or something? because i am really interested to make a base at the bottom of the ocean, with ICBM's & vessels ready to launch from an under water kerb city! Cheers, Ryan.
  8. how is it that I saw a video posted on the 22nd of September ( 2 weeks & 1 day ago ) and he was diving to depths beneath 600M?
  9. I have a serious problem, I cannot get any vessel below 600m depth, what am I doing wrong?
  10. hello everyone my name is Ryan. I have been playing ksp since its initial release, I have always loved space exploration, & travel. The crafts used to get us there! & then I thought, hay if you gave anybody else my age the given materials I could build a rocket and leave earths orbit circum-navigate the moon in orbit, sling shot around and come back to earth. But that isn't going to happen, but what I could do is build a smaller sub-orbital " model " rocket. I am just wondering if anybody on the forums here, would like me to upload photo's on progress / work I have done. But I also add that it will be a bit off a slow project ( as of the funding ) but it will be a fun science project. I would be happy to receive any input / advice too! feel free to PM or just post a comment on here!! Cheers, Ryan!
  11. hello K^2, thank you for the input. I am not planning on making an orbit, I do not believe that I have enough funding. If you would do the calculations, & could present it to me either in PM or just comment I would be happy to consider it. Cheers, Ryan.
  12. hello, I am planning on making my propellant from solid fuel. I have a few very nice mixtures. I am yet to test which of the 3 works best, or if i can infuse all 3 to make a really powerful mix. and by sub orbital I am not really planning on anything to large. I was thinking that for my first attempt 1.5km - 2.5km high, with recovery. as I am planning on adding in altimeter & telemetry modules ( also enables me to deploy a drogue parachute and then a main chute at 500ft. then allowing me to upload the data to my computer to view flight data, speeds, e.t.c. and I have gotten authority from the government to build and launch this rocket as well. ( also the fact that I am adding an semi-automated recovery system, the government actually allows flights some how..
  13. Hey, wondering if you where considering posting a download link for the 6m shaft? that's pretty cool...
