  1. It sure is fun!! Thanks Scotius, expect an update soon!
  2. Wondering whats next? Well...have a look
  3. Well whatever has happened there...I have absolutely no idea. Look like fun though!
  4. Thanks Greys....are you describing something like what happens to the kerbal in the video by Electronicfox...the bit where his head is stuck?
  5. Thanks Tex! The new colliders make all the difference. A big leap in my understanding of how it all works.
  6. Hey Tommygun! Personally, I like oversized wheels! Having said that, you will have noticed we now have a deal with Kerchelin and there must be a reason for that () - Expect something cool to happen regarding wheels. Thanks for the feedback! Hi Dave! First of all, thanks for the tips on multiple textures. I got it working after correcting a few silly errors I had made. Yes, I liked the 2 seater, I wanna build a wider one. 4 seater? maybe?? Yup, survivability increased from 1% to 75% under the usual ridiculous conditions!! We have plans for wheel attachment parts for the RollKage pack too. It should make it a simple task to place 4 perfectly in line wheels, much like how you can do it now with the cube truss, but much cooler! . Thanks for your comment! Yes, a very honest comment....Our heros can mostly survive high impact with the rollkage!! Thanks Lazurkri!! Fortunately, our kerbal is thrown from his seat during high speed testing!!....mostly still alive!!
  7. Thanks Tex..I look forward to the results!
  8. McBeth Engineering are pleased to announce further expansion in our staffing levels after our successful sponsorship deal with Kerchelin. Welcome aboard Zitronen! Sneaky download before anyone else? Get the Mark 1-EF RollKage here, all current five colours : https://www.dropbox.com/s/tz4armjwfru4kbw/RollKage.zip Much improved version, have fun!!
  9. Thanks Dave, I can get the parts to show up in the VAB when I do this, but as soon as I launch it reverts back to the same colour. Any tips? SOLVED!! got there eventually. Thanks Dave
  10. Hahahahaha Poor wee Kerbal @ 2:09!!
  11. Haha! Brilliant!, an interesting alternative use of the rollkage. Thanks Billza!
  12. Added rescaled front wheels and edited both wheels not to break at high speed, edited small fuel tank to contain only fuel, half size jet engine, new rollKage, the rest is stock.
  13. Dave7 Multiple textures, thanks!, I have been trying to do that! Brilliant The new rollcage is 1billion times better Dave, we (I, not we. Electronicfox made a brilliant mesh) had a few problems with it that have now been fixed. The new version is more solid and will not sink into the ground the same way as the mk1 does. Here are some testing pics.. And yes, this is as much fun as it looks! RollKage wont save your butt every time, but it helps.
  14. I was thinking that too, after reading the part tools thread, but I'm not sure. Thanks DrDima
  15. Hello I have a part ready for spaceport. I would like make the part available in different colours. How to I go about this without having different part folders for each colour? I have read the 0.20 part tools thread, its a bit over my head for now so keep in mind that I'm new to this. I appreciate any advice given. Thanks Angus
  16. These handle inclines well, and look absolutley brilliant. Thank you! Loving them!
  17. The new rollkage is looking absolutely brilliant, but, its just so fiddly to use. I think we might need to get the grinder out!! Bill was impressed.
  18. Brilliant Quite a steep incline tackled here! Excellent Job
  19. I'll let you know once I get these *I^*$%* colliders working!
  20. I will see how that works out, there probably will be an invisible collider that will allow you to surface attach on the front. I have to make the Mk2 more cagey than the skull crushingly collider deficient Mk1. As Mr E.Fox points out, there are plans afoot.
  21. RollKage has a new welder onboard increasing staff levels by 100%. Welcome aboard Electronicfox The Mk2 is ready and will be coming out the paint shop in a few hours. !!!!!
