  1. That inscription on the hatch off "Breath"'s Lander should be changed to SAUERSTOFF O2 Wartungszugang
  2. For me, both couplers break when breaching around 130meters per second - Which appears weird no matter how you look at it.
  3. how about a mün monster that chases a kerbal around and oddly resembles a human?
  4. that weird bug was caused by an error in the wing\'s code. It was even stated by one of the devs and is fixed in .16
  5. Exponential growth, baby. Interest two players, who interest two more players, who interest two new player each...
  6. maybe one of the arches.
  7. 642) Still trying to get a spaceplane into flight with 3 gears 643) said plane still does barrel rolls at the speed of sound instead of rolling straight
  8. His pupils fell out. seeing as pupils are usualy the absence of the skin of the eyeball, this is freaking me out. somehow. he looks like a zombie tbh.
  9. go to your ksp directory. Look for the persistant file. Delete it, or open it and look for the bob bill and jeb. They should reappear when you delete the entrys. If you delete the file, your gameworld will efectively be reset
  10. An empty water bottle. One Bottle of ultra purified water. One Bottle of ultra purified water with ethane 1,2 diol. Another Bottle of the former. Inpurified with algae. I meant to filter that. Standing in front of the aflame reactor I *KSHHSHHHHHHH*
  11. This is exciting, this is new! shouted Jeb. Scientists stood agast, the stack finaly flew. Proved wrong by a foolharty crew. Ignoring the shaking and rattling, Jeb and the controls are still battling when Bob notices - too late! The fuses blew.
  12. Guys, stop arguing and read the wikipedia entry for the aerospikes and sabre.
  13. great. *looks for a way to close this one*
  14. Ultra sonic sound? In space? Would that really work without an atmosphere?
  15. that\'d be easy based on fuel intake and internal pressures. turbofan gears up and turns faster than normal while compression chamber pressure drops -> low atmosphere, switch to ramjet - funel vents close, valves open to reroute fuel and cone between compression chamber and engine chamber regulates flow of air and fuel. pressure drops further -> cone is pressed into the connection, oxidizer valves open, engine goes rocket mode.
  16. That\'d be nice, if I\'d knew what the heck I should do with DLLs.
  17. or... just stop using youtube. clipfish myvideo ..some other hosts.. ..work just as fine.
  18. the manual stated the fuel would be flowing around the engine for conditioning (heating, compression, spray injection). operation mode would be controlled by the \'air injector cone\' (don\'t remember its real name) thats pressed into the collector the more pressure there is in the burn chamber. open during low atmosphere air breathing operation, half closed during high atmosphere ramjet and fully closed when in trans atmosphere rocket mode. One would need to write a complete new engine for that including a plugin, I pressume.
  19. Hey. I came accross an Alien technical handbook for marines, quickly skimmed through the pages and found blueprint and descriptions for the UD-4L(?) dropship. It features Ram-Rockets, that switch operation mode from normal air breathing > ramjet > rocket. Is that possible in KSP already?
  20. Instead of the gear\'s bay sitting outside of the part it\'s attached to (like a float pod on a water plane), it\'ll 'burry ' into the part like on an airplane.
  21. KPC #5. Keppler\'s Party Can
  22. In the landing gear\'s CFG, change the 2nd attach paremeter from 0.147 to -0.150 to 'sink' the box into the attached part. in *\KSP\smallGearBay\part.cfg: // --- node definitions --- node_attach = 0.00, -0.150, 0.00, 0.0, 1.0, 0.0, 1
  23. that\'s what I did. Then I can\'t dispose them and the whole operation is lead ad absurdum. My problem here is... -------- | Tank1 | | ----------->Engine | ^ | | | | ----|--- ( | ) ----|--- | | | | | | | | Tank2 | -------- ( ) -------- ...the top tanks drain before the lower ones. Of course that\'s physical correct, but with all the irregularitys here... I\'d wish we would have fuel lines that only open when activated!
  24. Yes, I did that, but since I also have done before posting this thread, I can say: Fuel lines attach to the decoupler instead to the above tank. Additionaly, instead of draining the first tank in the daisy chain, the system empties the first attached and takes from the tanks below them only after those first ones are empty.
  25. I managed to come up with a way to get rid of emptied tanks, but since I need to clear them from the bottom up that way, I don\'t know what to do. I tried connecting them with fuel tubes, but anything short of horizontaly daisy chaining the tanks fails.
