Future of Aerodynamic parts
Trux replied to SpenSpaceCorp's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
That isn't mirror symmetry, look at the icon in the bottom left corner. -
Exactly what 5thHorseman says, it's all about the accent/region.

Does the release of planet models mean that these planets will remain the same in the game till release?
-
It is a procedural fairing interstage with the bottom fuselage wall piece missing. It's the only decent 1.25m cargo bag I have seen, but you have to build it yourself.

Just some of my most loved Aircraft I have made recently, tuning up my light aircraft construction in the process. Try not to lean forward too much there Rosy! One of the more successful prototypes of the HTVL category of Aircraft, the V4. The latest Light Spaceplane built, the Greyscale Dart. The rocket plane is launched on a small vehicle (1 Skipper, 1 large grey tank) and fits inside a 2.5M fairing. Prototype Racer/Fighter Aircraft, the Bulldog R.2/F.2 (Shown here without guns, if I could get some I was happy with I would mount them inside the wings. Here is a high altitude Recon plane, designed with room for a pilot and 2 spotters. This model can be used for search and rescue operations due to its capacity and maneuverability. The plane is fitted with 4 small sized jet engines, all hidden away under wings and such, and can reach around 1300 m/s (Mach 3.8ish) Bombs away...

Devnote Tuesdays: Kerbal Kon and Tweakables Edition
Trux replied to SQUAD's topic in KSP1 The Daily Kerbal
The internet -
And by the same logic all of the text in the game should be unrecognizable to us as Kerbals do not understand English, but that isn't the case because this is a game for humans. Call them what you like.

Modding Mondays: NASA MAVEN Mars Probe Exact Replica
Trux replied to SQUAD's topic in KSP1 The Daily Kerbal
Might have downloaded if the craft was a mod, hell even if the rocket itself was anything like the Atlas V it would have been something worthy of a showcase. -
[NOT suggestion] Maxmaps and Girlbals
Trux replied to Whirligig Girl's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I find it interesting that people are having a hard time finding "female" Kerbals. I've had a Rosy Kerman, Jenny Kerman, Annie Kerman etc. -
I like Laythe and Minmus where they are. The challenge of getting to Laythe makes half the reason of going there, plus it just wouldn't be the same without that huge green gas giant as your near constant companion.
-
Also make sure the ladder and hatch is unobstructed, if there is and part collision the Kerbals can be thrown off of ladders with very high velocities.
-
Could the issue be the lack of gimbaling from the Aerospike engines?

First American to orbit the Earth and oldest person to travel in space.

Hilarious the science tree gives us Skipper before Mainsail

What on Kerbin are you talking about? This thread is 2 weeks old, nowhere near a necro thread. -
Should Launch Clamps be stronger?
Trux replied to Mmmmyum's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Put the launch clamps above your center of mass -

Done and done -
His craft disassembled itself over Laythe but the capsule splashed down intact. Engineers have no idea how to return him so plans are to send a Hitchhiker Habitation module on floats as a constant supply of snacks.

Isn't this illegal?
-
Who here has landed a usable aircraft on Laythe?
Trux replied to thereaverofdarkness's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Try using the scientific parts to get a gravity reading, the alternative is to look on the wiki for Laythe. I would do the research yourself though -
Fancy giving more information so we don't have to download a pdf file?

You knew what you were getting when you bought the game.
