  1. If you do revive it, consider adding abort actions on loss of signal. I would love my rovers to put on the breaks when I lose control of them.
  2. Ok, so a 1:1 polar geosync orbit will still have an altitude of ~2886750m. Thanks! I'd never heard of the Tundra orbit before, but I do use Molniya orbits. Good stuff.
  3. Hey folks, I want to set up a polar satellite that revolves at the same speed as Kerbin, so that it is always passing over the same parts of Kerbin. How do I set this up?

  10. My good sir, though your quaint notion of fixed-wing flight is laudable, I'm certain you must agree the future of air travel is in the ornithopter. How could a mere fixed wing compare to its majestic flapping motion, or even the unpowered rotary wing of the autogyro! (Seriously though, looks really nice. Good work!)

  14. By inverting the middle node, the IR ring can be attached without flipping it first.

So then, alter the corresponding lines in corestandard.cfg to read node_stack_bottom = 0.0, -0.925, 0.0, 0.0, -1.0, 0.0, 1 node_stack_middle = 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, -1.0, 0.0, 1 node_attach = 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 1.0, 0.0 Voila. Fully compatible and functioning, as far as I can tell.
  16. Ok, so the line in corestandard.cfg must become node_stack_bottom = 0.0, -0.925, 0.0, 0.0, -1.0, 0.0, 1 This is the third to last term changed to a -1. Haven't figured out what needs to be done to the ring yet.
  17. It's in the nodes config. I'm looking up what I need to do, and I'll post it when I find it. If no-one beats me to it, that is!
  18. FYI: because this mod uses old nodes, you'll need to flip the ring upside-down to attach it to the hub.

  21. Engine ISP is calculated using atmospheric pressure at Kerbin Sea Level. Therefore, removing Kerbin's atmosphere makes all the engines ISP a division by zero.
