  1. Yeah, this issue is being caused by US 1.0.90.1 containing all files for all parts. As I mentioned a few pages back, Universal Storage is now being packaged as a complete mod that uses Module Manager to detect the presence of other mods (KAS, TACLS etc). Basically, don't install the US KAS pack and as long as you have KAS installed the US parts will still appear in the VAB. I spent a few hours scratching my head over this one!
  2. Agathorn, looking through the latest version of US, it appears that the configs use Module Manager to determine which other mods (KAS, TACLS, Snacks etc) you already have installed and then activate the parts. Therefore the only dependency US should have would be MM. The problem I had was that I didn't realise this and was trying to install the KAS pack on top. This was trying to overwrite files that already existed which CKAN won't allow. Poldi and yeliabmit. Looking at your error logs, it appears that you too are having Universal Storage problems. I'd suggest fully uninstalling US and any of its pack that you had installed (through CKAN if that was how you installed them, manually if not) and then just reinstalling the lastest US, which CKAN has. This might very well solve your problems.
  3. So, with version 1.0.90 Paul Kingtiger has merged all his Universal Storage packs into one mod (making it a Universal Install ) meaning that trying to install extra packs (KAS, TACLS etc) creates overwrite errors in CKAN. Is there some way for CKAN to highlight the fact that the extra packs are now not needed with this version of US and above before people (like me) spend a couple of hours wondering why the mod wont install?
  4. Hey Nothke, Don't know if you're aware of this, but your service tubes are available via CKAN. Only thing is that CKAN is installing v1.2. Might be worth chasing up with the CKAN guys? And HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!
  5. Hi guys, Loving CKAN at the moment. With the update to 0.90, CKAN has now become my goto method of managing the 30 odd mods I've got installed! However, I seem to have come across a small, somewhat annoying bug. Using the current version of CKAN and the GUI in Windows 7, the relationships panel doesn't update when scrolling between the different types of dependency. For example, DMagic Orbital Science doesn't have any other mod that it requires, but it should list several suggested mods. Clicking on OS though and then changing the relationship selection to 'Suggests' shows an empty list. The only way I've found to show the other relationship types is to pick that type, switch to a different mod and then switch back to the one I'm actually interested in. Other than that guys, this seems incredibly solid! Keep up the good work and happy holidays!
  6. I'm clearly doing something wrong as well as I can't seem to get the OS US parts to appear in the VAB. Inside my GameData folder I have US_Core_0.9.0.24, US_KAS_0.9.0.14 and US_TAC_0.9.2.7. These all work perfectly with all parts showing up correctly. I've then also got GameData/DMagic Orbital Science, which also work except for the US parts (Goo, Materials etc.), so I'm 99% certain I've got everything installed correctly. So what am I missing with regards to the OS US parts?
